I remembered a folder I created on my last laptop. It contains a series of story titles which I already have a plot on and Poisonous Blood was from there and that folder was called 'Dreams.' That laptop was stolen in 2016 but I remembered that I installed dropbox there so I checked mine and thankfully it was there.

I have created chapters in each folder inside that folder. This excerpt was from the folder 'The Prophet' and one of my protagonists there has eyes like a cat and when it's dark they glow just like how cat's eyes are. I think it was a good book to do for Jenlisa next. I changed the names and the age and I'll post this here so you can give feedback about it.

Tell me what you think. If I'll proceed with it or not, after this story.

Chapter 1

L I S A

My night was greeted by a cold breeze as I walked out of my editor's building. I just finished discussing my next book with her and she was ecstatic that I already have the next book painted in my head.

I'm a writer. Most of my works were in the fantasy genre and you can say that they are famous. Selling millions of copies every release is no joke. I'm now on the youngest famous authors' list, topping it at 21.

I was on my way to my apartment after a long day. I still have school works and some scribbling to do at this late hour.

My works were out of the ordinary. It didn't come from my mind. Well, sort of. I always get it at the most unfortunate times. Sometimes, while answering some math problems in front of the class, sometimes while crossing the streets and sometimes when I thought I was already sleeping.

They come from visions. I called it visions because my mind couldn't really imagine at that extent where all details were remembered and the surroundings seemed real. An ordinary mind couldn't create that. Hell, I couldn't even remember where I put my car keys let alone those dreams.

But I did, I remember every single detail in those dreams or visions that even after a day or two, I could still picture it in my mind and write it in a journal so I did. I wrote every single vision I had and well there it went, I formed a story.

Those scenarios were strangely connected and after some time, my journals were filled with those that my best friend, Chaeyoung suggested that I submit an excerpt of those to a nearby editor. That's when my luck started. The books got published and I earned a big amount of money enough to get me through school.

I decided to buy some sushi on the way so that I don't have to cook dinner. I also texted Chaeng that I was on my way home because she was always worried for me after that time where I almost got ran by a car in the middle of the street.

I arrived at my door, fishing for my keys. I unlocked it and moved inside. The room was enveloped by a thick blanket of darkness. I slowly closed the door and moved my hand on the left to find the light switch when I felt a strange presence in the room.

My body moved around as I scanned all corners of my small apartment until two glowing spots caught my attention. The hairs rose on my body as I stared at the blinking spots. Ocean blue spots glowing like cat's eyes.

My heart hammered in my chest as a sense of danger filled my body. Those spots were unfamiliar yet familiar. Those spots aren't spots. Those are eyes of an impossible trespasser. Memories of those eyes filled my mind and scenarios played in my head.

It's impossible for your protagonist to visit you, right?
