My mistake, my result

~ Chapter 1 ~

One rainy night Chanyeol was returning from a busy day of work when he came across two little boys hiding in the bushes. Two strange looking boys sat close together, trying to shield themselves from the heavy rain. Chanyeol instantly felt pity for the two and picked them up, deciding to take them home with him. He thought that'd be an easy task... Wrong, it was in fact the exact opposite that took longer than he expected and half way through his efforts he began to doubt his reason for helping them.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun was at home sulking on the couch. He had gotten home earlier than usual today wondering what was taking Chanyeol so long when in fact Chanyeol wasn't expected to be home for another hour. He decided he'd call Chanyeol to check on him but, before he could even click his name the door-bell rang. Baekhyun got up to answer it hoping it was Chanyeol but, little did he know there would be two other boys with him. When he opened the door, he was happy to see it was Chanyeol and not a serial killer instead.

"What are those?" Baekhyun questioned staring at the glows.

"First let me in, they're heavy" Chanyeol gasped as Baekhyun moved to the side so he could enter. Baekhyun locked the door behind him as he headed over to Chanyeol in curiosity. Chanyeol settled them down on the couch beside him before turning to his confused puppy.

"I found them in the bushes, they looked so cold and I just couldn't leave them there in the rain" Chanyeol explained.

He has such a big heart.

"Hmm okay but, that doesn't explain why they're glowing like that" Baekhyun stared with folded arms.

While the two guys gave each other questionable stares, the young children stopped glowing and turned their attention to each other.

"I think we should protect this pair, what do you think Shukufuku?"

"I agree, this friendship seems strong each other and I think the tall one is really nice to have brought us home with him. But, what about master Kim? Won't he be angry?"

"Shukufuku, Mr Kim wasn't loyal, so you kept getting sick. I won't put your health in danger again, just to protect people who didn't even allow us to help them"

The boys stood up bowing to the roommates. Chanyeol and Baekhyun were taken aback by their sudden actions but, both cooed at their cuteness.

The boys lifted their heads. "Thank you, Mr Park, for helping his majesty- I mean my brother and I, we appreciate your kindness"

"Your welcome but, mind telling me somethings about you two like; what are you names and why you were out in the rain glowing like that?" Chanyeol interrogated smoothly.

"My name is Yamauchi Chujitsuna meaning mountain inside loyalty, in Japanese. I'm an underage yokai fox familiar and this is my younger brother Shukufuku"

"And I'm a vampire" Shukufuku joked only receiving a glare from his brother. "I'm kidding sorry, I'm princ- owwie" he was cut off by Chujitsuna kicking him in the leg.

"Why Oniichan? Why the hell did you kick me!?"

"Just introduce yourself" he growled to his brother.

"Fine! I'm also an underage god knows what familiar and my real name is Yuki- ouch!" Shukufuku yelled. "Why did you bite me! This is abuse" he complained until he heard a chuckle from Chanyeol.

"Please Shukufuku, please just introduce yourself to them" he irritated by his drama.

'Why did I follow this kid? I should have told someone else to take my place while I still had the chance, stupid me' Chujitsuna thought to himself.
