~ Chapter 12 ~

Chapter 12:

The playful theme was his favourite, it reminded him of home.

'Lay-shi, Kai hyung and daddy all made amazing songs we still listen to' Kazuhiro thought with a smile. 'And to think I wouldn't have known all this if I hadn't moved schools is unbelievable'.

It had been week since Kazuhiro had left and Chanyeol was happy to know he was returning back hope for a short break before returning to the campus but, also sad because Baekhyun would be on a business trip during Hiro's time off. This only left him with the boys and maybe Kai.

Kazuhiro returned to his home driven by his friend's driver, he had become friends with all his classmates as a result of this trip and the fact that news got out he was Happyeol's son made thing's easier for him. He now had many contacts on his phone not only from his class but, from older and younger students too.

When Kazuhiro returned his hair was a real mess along with his uniform due to the fact he had a wrestling match before being driven home so, if Chanyeol saw him he'd probably have some explaining to do.

"Hey daddy, I'm back" he said entering his home.

Chanyeol was in the living room watching cartoons with Kai and Masahiro. Kai stood up first to go welcome him while the others stayed seated. Kai lifted him into the air watching his smile surface.

"Were you in a fight before coming home?" Kai asked putting him down as he rubbed dirt off his face.

"I wrestled some guys for the last strawberry and I won. Then my friend sent a car for me to come home" he replied.

Kai patted his head, "so my Hiro is a fighter now?" He smiled.

"Yep, I made many friends some older and some younger. I made one real friend that was a girl but, the others only liked me because Happyeol is my dad so I'm not close with them. The guys said they'd even help me become manlier in their company and said they'd help me with my studies too if I struggle in the future" he told Kai in excitement.

"So your popular with the girls and cool with the guys? That's great Hiro, you've made mutual friends in a week I'm proud of you and sure your dad is too" Kai hugged.

"This deserves a treat, let me buy you one from the store. What would you like? A toy or candy?"

"You" Hiro pointed, "I want to spend time at Kai's house" he said.

"Err... Okay, we'll ask your dad if you can and if he says yes. You can stay over" He hesitated.

Kai walked to the living room with Hiro beside him to find the two had in fact fallen asleep. There was a note in Chanyeol's hand that Kazuhiro removed giving it to Kai to read.

"I give you permission to take Hiro if he wants to go to yours, just don't teach him anything inappropriate. I'm not feeling well enough to provide him with the attention he deserves. Call me if anything happens and make sure he takes his medication, it's located in the second to bottom draw in the kitchen. I'm sorry for my misconduct during his absence, I promise you'll never see me like that again.

Sighed, Chanyeol" Kai read aloud.

"Looks like your staying at my place" Kai confirmed with a weak smile.

"Is he okay?" Kazuhiro asked as Kai shifted his gaze from him.

During Kazuhiro's absence Chanyeol got wasted, two days after Hiro left. Chanyeol would call Kai filled with alcohol.
