~ Chapter 14 ~

Chapter 14: Childhood memories return.

(A/N: Really long chapter ahead, hope you enjoy it and sorry for not updating for a while. I was hibernating for fun and doing my course work. >///<) 

***Previously***

"Kai will definitely wear something that glows, you know him so well" Key said sarcastically examining Jonghyun's new product.

"He is examining Chanyeol's sons" the male answered.

"Sons? Chanyeol reproduced?!" Taemin said in shock.

Lay had the boys in his special lab researching their DNA while, Masahiro sat quietly holding Kazuhiro's hand as they watched Lay work.

"You aren't allowed to do this, only Tomoe is allowed to check my DNA, not some unicorn doctor, who's mean" Kazuhiro spoke without hesitation.

"Tomoe, huh? Well, what if I said I was his friend?"

"Tomoe doesn't make friends like you, his friends all have reason to their work".

"What are you implying?" Lay growled.

"I'm implying you should not take me lightly" Hiro's eyes glowed a strange faded gold.

"So, protective over what? Chanyeol?" Lay chuckled. "He doesn't deserve this treatment".

"I don't know what your problem is with Chanyeol but, just because you dislike him doesn't give you the right to question other's affection for him. I'm seven and tell what your saying is pointless and salty" Masahiro said in defensive mode.

"How much did he pay you? No one in their right mind would defend Chanyeol, he isn't worth anyones efforts after the things he's done".

"I don't care of his past, I'm not like you; a person who holds people to their mistakes. I wasn't brought up to be narrow minded like you, now could you understand his son doesn't have to hear these negative things" Masahiro stated formally.

"Chanyeol is my daddy so, why wouldn't I care? Lay, you are sick if you think I wouldn't care about my own parent. I don't know what he did but, I'm sure I could forgive him over time"

Lay glared at the two angrily, "don't come crying to me when you realise the truth. I will watch you two crumble since I've already warned you of the type of person he is".

"Kazuhiro stop it, he isn't worth your breath" an annoyed out of breath Kai said.

They turned to the door to see Kai standing at the boarders. He appeared tired and frustrated.

"How was your encounter with mister Lee?" Lay smirked.

"Shut up! Boys lets go check on your dad now" he called them over to leave until...

"Where are you going?" A voice asked.

"Taemin. Get out of my way, I'm not in the mood" he growled.

Taemin ignored him and blocked his path anyway. "I need to speak with you".

"And I need you to piss off!!"

"Kim Jongin!" Taemin called.

"What!?" He yelled in frustration, "do you want me to fetch you a stick? You want me to turn into a dog for you to pet? I'm not a child anymore so, you can stop dreaming. I'm not Taemin's loyal dog anymore, that Kai is dead just like this Kai should have been a long time ago!" He fumed.
