In Too Deep

Chapter 3~Looking back~

All I could do is smile from ear to ear. He made me feel like I could be myself. Sadly I've never really been myself ever since my we've moved to Korea. But I didn't want to fall into his little trap. He seemed like the player that tries to sweep girls off his feet, just to tell them later that they aren't his type or he's not looking for anything serious at the moment.(Or something stupid like that.)I still want to be his friend I just have to calm down and tell myself that these emotions I have are just temporary. As the day went on I tried to brush off these feelings that were trying to come into my life.

Being the cool kid isn't as easy as people make it look. Wait. Let me start over from the beginning. From the very beginning. I've always had a passion for dancing and singing. My mom would tell me for what it seemed like everyday that I loved dancing and singing for as long as she could remember. She told me that I would always play the piano for her (before and after I got professional lessons).

I made a promise that I would never let her down, and continue to love music and dancing forever. And then she would always tell me that I don't have to, but I insisted on it. So maybe my determination got a little too intense the last couple years. Ok let's be honest, my grades were horrible the past couple years. I spent a lot of "studying" and "doing homework" time at dance and music studios. But I couldn't help it, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't rusty. So this year is going to be different. I hope.

Ok so where was I, ahh yess. "Being the cool kid isn't as easy as people make it look" I mean it's not. People come up to you and want to talk, and people think that just because you talked to them once you are all of a sudden "best friends". But most of the time I just don't say anything, I "try" to be nice.

I just don't need people getting in my way. My focus is going to be on school, my real friends, and my dancing and singing career. And that's it. I hope.
