The reflection of the soul is a mirror of truth, it is a single fragment of the many faces an individual can have. Glimpsed in the eyes of pure hearts, mighty of the invisible, the Avengers were truly the Protectors of the Earth: worthy of the right to live.

Each person is unique, yet this team was so much more than unique. Gathering the forces of centuries, of ingeniosity, of power and hope, they were their own legends.

As a smile reached your lips, proud overwhelming your chest, you felt home. However, it didn't mean you fit in the team, not yet. You needed to prove yourself, to show your strength and how valuable you could be to the team.

So, you offered gently, breaking the small argument between Tony and Steve about the incoming danger that was Thanos. Steve was seeking for help thanks to you while Tony thought that if Thanos could wipe out the universe, they needed something stronger than a dragon.

« Why don't we train together? In that way, you could see how strong I am in my human form. As you said it, Tony, a dragon isn't the only thing we need to defeat Thanos. What we truly need is teamwork and to do so, we need to be prepared. »

The whole team glanced at you, their eyes scanning you carefully. A small smirk enlightened the Russian assassin, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

She stepped forward, her arms crossed over her black suit.

« Let's test your fighting skills. If you beat me, you're in. If you don't, I get a ride in your dragon form. »

A chuckled left your lips, piercing the envious tone of the woman.

« Deal. »

Tony elbowed Bruce, muttering in his ear.

« Who do you bet for? Black Widow or the Dragon Girl? »

« Allow me to protect this area » announced Stephen, activating his Mystic abilities by opening a door to the Mirror Dimension, « Here, your fight will damage nothing. »

Bowing your head to the woman, you let her attack you first, her swift move dancing in the air. Thanks to your enhanced senses and strength, you easily stopped her, your arm blocking the assassin to strike you down. She dodged your attacks, her slinky body spinning on itself to avoid your punches until in one smooth movement, you send her flying through the other end of the room, her body colliding roughly with the wall. She defintely was a wonderful opponent for a human.

« Not bad, Romanoff. You truly are a worthy warrior. »

A series of gasps were heard, but your main focus was on the Red Room survivor. Even Stephen looked carefully at the fight, eyeing your perfect stance, the way you moved and all your fighting technique, as a trail of cerulean blue eyes following you.

Captain America joined the fight, teaming up with Bucky to put you down but even if their strength matched yours, managed to send them to the floor.
