CHAPTER THREE -- "he had no tongue."

zayn and I had bonded ever since the first day we had met. but lately, he's been acting off. I've noticed he's never eaten in front of me, or opened his mouth in front of me, only in front of liam, in which I can't see it anyways because he always shields it...liam just smirks every time after seeing it.

I didn't get it. zayn was starting to act more and more suspicious everyday. well, I shouldn't say suspicious, he's not hiding anything. he's more mysterious I should say.

we were all sat at our regular lunch table when I opened my mouth to speak. "we should all have a sleepover at my house this weekend." zayn nodded imediately.

"I know your parents will allow you, zayn, will yours liam? you've only been over once and you had to sneak over." liam's face paled at the mention of parents and zayn gulped.

"zayn..show me your mouth now." and so he did, but he didn't shield it.

that's when I noticed he had no tongue.
