I just had moved from Wisner, Louisiana to Moorseville, North Carolina. It was my first day at Davidson Day High School. Unlike all the other girls, I didn't fall for jocks and jerks, I went for more quiet and polite boys. I had gotten through half the day and made a bunch of friends and seemed to fit it. So during lunch I sat at the table where all the "popular girls" sat. I was the only one who had brought my lunch, so I waited by myself at the table while my friends went up to the lunch line. I tried not to make any awkward eye contact with anyone else. Suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder, "I'm Nash, What's your name?" The cute boy said. "Cute Name, I'm Jenn and this is my first day here" I said. He chuckled and said, "So I figure your a part of the popular girls? On your first day?" I giggled and said, "I guess." He slid a piece of paper into my lunch box and said, "call me later." I nodded and called him a couple hours after I got home.
