As much as I wanted to stay by Ravens side, I decided it be better to kept my distance. She could handle herself-everyone knew that- especially after she practically turned Brooke to vapor. I could feel her anyways.

No one leaves Alive

Was what she said before beheading a few soldiers and using their bodies as weapons just to terrorize a few of their comrades before beheading them as well. Raven was like a Lion, playing with it's prey, and honestly it was the hottest thing I'd seen her do yet. The thought made me smirk.

I had finally cleared the front line of soldiers, and was now b-lining for their generals. Slaying these guys was as easy as breathing air, of course it helped when you were gifted. My entire gifted army against the councils band of cotton headed ninny muggins'? I think we all know who will win here. I thought it to be strange though, the size of their army was large, most likely outnumbering ours; yet, I still had a feeling as though, this was not their true army. The council must be smarter than this.

"BLOODYCURSED HELL BORN!!!" A man jumped out in front of me, blocking my path to the general's tents. This man was large and covered in blood, by his accent I believed he was from the western country-the one whom still has a queen (despite the council). He swung his word in a child like way, aiming in no place in particular. Just...swinging. At one point our swords clashed-and instead of dealing the final blow, I looked into his eyes and compelled him to run as far away from here as humanly possible. This man did not know what he was fighting for, not a damn clue.  I could feel Raven glaring across our bond. I only shrugged,

Not everyone has to die, we show little mercy , I thought.

I show none. She stated as she took down an old man, looking him in the eyes as she stabbed him through the heart.

The generals tents were a pure white color and blinding underneath the sun. I crouched around the entrance and peaked beneath the cloth, I could see boots but no movement. There were no voices either...I pulled back the curtain and found no one in the tent. Around the table were four pairs of boots stationed around it, to look as though people were standing there. On the table was a folded piece of paper. Carefully I unfolded the paper, on the inside was the picture of a raven, smudged and rather morbid looking.

The picture made me pause

The picture made me pause.

MAGNUS!!!!! Raven screeched.

And suddenly all I could see was the color black, as dark as the Raven itself.
