Here I am, once again, for the fourth time this week, sitting, waiting, waiting.

The constant, beeping sound of the machine attached to the bed rings through my ears, the sound which haunts me each day and each night and always will, as I'm still here, waiting, waiting.

I come to visit everyday and stay overnight most times. It's been 2 months now. Two months of painful waiting, waiting.

My mum tells me I need to come home; that I need to have some fresh air; eat and sleep. But how can I when she is still here alone, fighting for her life. I am responsible for this. That's why I'm still here,

Waiting, Waiting.
