Cassy’s POV

“We should go now” mahinang sabi ko kay lance while staring at my hands.

It took me an hour to relax myself and finally realize that I’m pretty stupid crying in front of him.

Again.

“Are you sure you can?” Tanong naman niya.

I looked up and glared at him. “I was never okay anyway” Then I stood up and fixed my dress.

“What does that supposed to mean?”

I took a deep breath and sighed. “Let us not have this conversation Lance, okay? Right now, we should be discussing tonights even” I said, groaning.

Tinitigan lang ako ni Lance na para bang di siya makapaniwala sa mga sinabi ko kaya tumayo na ko.

“Let’s go or we’ll both gonna end up cursing the dinner later” I added.

Nilampasan ko na siya at lumabas na ko ng music room.

I wiped all the tears left in my face as I walked confidently down the hallway.

“Wait cassy” sigaw niya.

Stupid.

I stopped and looked at him. “What now?”

He ran towards me, his eyes never leaving mine.

“Why are you acting like that?”

“Huh?”

Ano bang ibig sabihin niya?

“You’re acting as if nothing happened. As if one moment ago, hindi ka umiiyak. Para bang bigla mo na lang nakalimutan yung nangyare” He said while scratching the back of his head.

I bit my lip.

Napansin niya?

“What do you expect me to do? Cry for weeks? Feel sad over something that is obviously not worth it? Madami tayong problema Lance at hindi yun ang dapat mong inaalala mo ngayon”
