35. Surprise, surprise

It took me a moment to realize what Zayn just said. He has a brother...Felex has a brother.
Oh.my.god

Flash backs of when Felex kidnapped me, forced himself on me, and when he....tortured Zee infront of me. I don't like remembering any of this.. im sure im gonna have nightmares tonight

Zayn waving his hand infront of my face snaps me out of my thoughts

"Baby, you ok?" He asked unsure of what to say

"Brother?!" I looked at him with wide eyes

"Older brother.."

"Oh my god Zee" i say starting to breathe heavily "what does he want?" I ask thinking of the worst of possibilities

"Baby, calm down" he said rubbing circles around my back "this is exactly why i didn't want to tell you"

"What does he want Zee" i repeat looking him in the eye sternly

"I'm not sure baby, but knowing what i did to his brother I'm sure he's after me" zayn said looking down thinking about something

"Oh my god Zee" i say again as i get up and sart pacing around "is that why Harry and Liam kept calling you?" I ask as i continue to pace

"Yes, they were trying to track him down"

"Did they find him?!"

"That's we're going home, Harry told me he keeps moving from place to place. He's up to something i can feel it"

"Well if they can't track him, what happens now"

"Once we get home I'm gonna call a meeting and we'll see what we'll do. For now i wanna get you home and keep you safe, I'm gonna double the guards around the castle and triple them outside and around our room. Im gonna anything and everything to keep you safe Sam don't worry" he stood up to touch my cheeks

"It's not me im worried about Zee" i say as i look him straight in the eye

"You don't need to worry about me baby" he says while looking back at me

"I love you, it's my job to worry about you. Vampire or not" i say as i leans into his touch and putting my hands on his arms "promise me you'll stay safe"

He looks down not saying anything "Zayn promise me"

"Okay baby, i promise. Just trust me ok"

"Always"

We arrive hours later back at the castle, i managed to sleep for an hour on the jet. Because i kept thinking about the news Zayn told me about, and i was also feeling a little dizzy which led to me throwing up. Luckily i made it to the bathroom before it happened

The Four lords were there to greet us along with all the girls and some of the servants. The lords with a serious look on their faces, the girls were all smiling and the servants just kept their eyes glued to the floor like always

While we were walking towards them the dizziness came back, this time sttonger than before. I felt like i was gonna fall so i clutched onto Zayns sleeve

"Baby you ok?"

I couldn't answer as i felt like my tongue was numb, my legs felt wobbly and they finally decided to give out and let me fall. I waited for me to collide with the floor but strong arms wrapped around my waist

"SAM!" I could hear Zayn shout. My eyes were slowly closing and the last thing i saw before everything went black were Zayns worried eyes

When my eyes opened i was greeted by kiara, she was smiling at me "hi" she said the smile never leaving her face

"Hey" i look around and notice im in the medical room in the palace "what happened?" i asked

"You got dizzy and fainted"

"Why though?"

"I know exactly why" Kiara said "I'm just waiting for Ruby"

(Zayns POV)

I'm currently in the meeting room with the lords discussing about the situation that made me and sam lose our shit. I didn't want to leave her side but i also have to attend this meeting

Once Kiara reassured me that she was fine and it was just from the long jet ride home, it calmed me enough to attend this meeting. As long as she's ok that's all that matters

"So what are we gonna do about him" Niall asked

"You said that tracking him didn't work?" I asked

"No it did work, until he decided to move from place to place and now we cant pin point his exact location" Harry said

"The fucker is up to something, and it frusturates me not knowing what it is" i say as i groan

"I guess the best thing to do right now is to lay low"

"What the hell are you saying Liam" i said as anger started to show on my face

"Im saying that if we show him that we don't care about him or his where abouts then maybe we can actually find him" liam says

"That's actually a good idea" Louis said opening his mouth for the first time during the meeting

"Alright then

(Sam's pov )

"Are you serious?!" I asked not believing what i was hearing

"Yes I'm serious" kiara said

"I thought it was impossible for vampires"

"It is" Ruby confirmed "Zayn's an exception i guess" she says "it makes sense concidering he's the eldest and most powerful vampire alive"

"Oh my god" i say looking down

"Are you going to tell him?" Kiara asks

"I'll tell him after this situation is dealt with and when everything is fine, i dont want to add to his stress" i say

"Good point" kiara says
