INGRID

"Stop your foolishness, Ms. Miles. I shouted while looking seriously at the witness.

"Do you have a proof?" Prosecutor Newton asked while slightly smiling.

"Tama! Show it!" sigaw ni Ms. Miles habang pinapatay niya ako sa kanyang mga titig.

I smirked. I'll prove to this court that I'm right! "Here."

This is the advisory paper from the hotel. I knew this can help me a lot from the start. Now, it's the perfect time to set it. Thank you, Ms. Teneiro!

The judge and the prosecutor had a copy of this one. Can the prosecution read it for me?" Pagpapatuloy ko.

The prosecutor gritted his teeth while getting the advisory paper on his desk. "To all room attendants, you must take the LED screens in all rooms at the third floor. All LED screens must be taken down before 9:30 PM-today."

The witness loudly laughed. "A-Anong si-silbi niyan? Hahahaha..."

"Actually, it makes a lot of sense."

"Paano?

"According to the advisory, it clearly stated that there are no LED screens in all rooms of the third floor. So, the question is how the witness saw a LED screen if there is nothing in that room!" I exclaimed.

"So the defense propose that the witness is not in the Room 18. If that's the case, where is she?"

"It's obvious, Your Honor. The witness, Ms. Miles is on the corridor of the third floor. Preparing to push the victim in the fire exit." I monotony said.

I can see the panic in the witness' face. I think I can slip throughout the cracks of her mask!

"T-That's r-ridiculous. I knew what I saw. I saw a LED screen in that night!" She insisted.

"Defense, you must prove that there are no LED screen in the Room 18 except from the advisory you shown. Or else the testimony of the witness is valid." said by the judge.

Tiningnan kong mabuti si Prosecutor Newton. His face is empty and full of doubtness.
