Leading ahead to the location where they supposed to surprise the Empress and his nephew.

Chang Yihuo pulled Beast's reins to took a halt when he saw some group of people on the road and it seems they we're robbed.

He was right though after asking what happened to them.

The people whom he meet on the road are deliverers from a farm and was robbed by the bandits that hides on the rice fields. The rice crops are so tall, thick and no one expect nor notice someone was hiding under it, especially 100 bandits.

The Emperor heard their miserable state and so he give them a gold emblem. He told them to give this to the gate keeper of the Royal Palace and they will be given some money. The people is very thankful to the black clothed man and didn't asked any questions as they don't want to get into trouble again.

Chang Yihuo took a glance at the Emperor who had a worried gazed at the rice field's rocky and narrowed path way.

"We must blend in" the Emperor ordered seriously and Chang Yihuo nodded at him.

The Young lord Chang knows what the Emperor meant and so they disguised themselves as bandits while waiting for their special one's carriage to enter the rice field. That's how they meet the Empress and his nephew.

Wenhe Feng's p.o.v...

I was surprised to see my Uncle scolded the black clothed man while the man in black is hugging my Uncle's waist.

"Do not worry" Big brother assured me and still holds me from behind, protectively.

"Yo...You! Who are..argh.. you?" the bandit leader is wincing from the pain and blood oozing from his cut off arm.

He point his weapon to the black clothed man and my Uncle but before he could speak another word. The black clothed man swiftly raised his sword and cut the bandit leader's head with a thud to the ground. The head rolled towards to its subordinates and their were horrified as I am too.

I quiver in big brother's arm and clutched his upper robe.

I was petrified to see how gruesome it was. I felt big brother hug me tightly as I buried my face to his chest and he smelled so manly in which I like it.

He was shouting at someone angrily and I could hear my Uncle is also shouting but I have no strength to look.

'Ah! Someone cuts the head. It will give me nightmares' (T -T)

I should man up to confront those kind of situation but who wants to see those kind of gruesome things in person. Well, others can while I can't. 

I silently squeaked when big brother carried me in his arms and put me down inside the carriage. I look at him and felt so embarrassed because I know, I have teary eyes.

Big Brother smiled at me "Stay here. Cover your ears and closed your eyes" he said while he caressed my right cheek and I felt the warmth of his big hands.

'Such a big hands'

I thought as I took a glance at my own hands that so small compared to him. Why?! There's a lot of difference, ah!

I nodded at him and released my hands that clutched to his clothes. "Be careful" I softly whispered. He leaned forward to kissed my eyelid "I will" he whispered back which I blushed of our sudden closeness.

He then closed the door of the carriage. I went to the corner and hugged my knees as I cover my ears and closed my eyes.

Not knowing, How big brother and the black clothed man single handed all those remaining bandits. The bandits screams of death is blocked out in my ears and blood are splashing everywhere.

After a minute, someone open the door and hugged me. I was about to scream when I saw my Uncle, unharmed "Uncle!" I cried.

My Uncle pats my head softly "There, there. You are safe and everything is now fine" he whispered then the carriage started to moved.

"What about Big brother? Where is he?" I asked worried.

"Oh! Don't worry. He is the one who drove the carriage right now" my Uncle smiled and kick the front wall of the carriage hardly. I could hear big brother reply loudly "YES!" and I am relieved to hear his voice.

I noticed the man in black clothed passed by the window "I'll personally slapped that man at home" My Uncle murmured while eyeing at the window.

"Who?" I asked while tilting my head.

My Uncle just smiled at me and patted my head again.

"When we get to arrived at the Royal Palace. I'll tell you" he said.

'Ehhh? But why not now?"
