35 - He Remembered

Darks'k: Hey, Everyone. How's the quarantine life? I hope you are all safe and always take care. I am sorry that I updated so late and it took me a year. Because I am too busy and even, Blackly. She hadn't opened Wattpad for a while now. Don't worry I won't drop this work. However, I can't updated often as much as in the past. Anyways, here's the chapter you are all been waiting. He had remembered the past that he almost set off to Nirvana in such a young age. The little him that day met his fear. He hadn't told anyone of his fear not even to his parents, the fear that he couldn't rid of. He's fear of the deep waters. The water was so deep for him when he was 5 years old and looks like it wanted to devoured him to the deepest part of its stomach.

Wenhe Feng wanted to be strong. After he started his first schooling, he asked his father to teach him how to swim. At first, he was nervous of touching the water however part of him still encourage himself not to be scared. It was painful to hide his fear of the water yet he actually done it. He had learned to swim but it was still fruitless in the end.

Many months later, The 14 years old young master Wenhe swimming on the village river decided to swam on the deepest part and upon arriving at the location, he was really terrified. 

He took a deep breath and dove in the water. Staring at the endless bottom pit of the dark waters for the first time, his body started to quivered and he couldn't control his breath. It was awful and dreadful feeling which he still remembered. Thankfully, his new guard who look after him quickly rescued him from drowning for the second time and ended his day with his parents scolding him and catching a cold. 

'It didn't vanish after all. I am still scared' ' he thought that day.

And now, after meeting the person who is responsible for giving him nightmares. The feeling of fear came back. He concluded that the bully is much scarier than the deepest waters.

"Ah'Feng"

He heard someone calling him worriedly. A familiar voice that made him felt safe and soothing. He looks up to stare the handsome face of the young man who had furrowed thin eyebrows like sword and eyes that so black stared back at him

"Cha..Chang Yihuo" he whispered, helplessly. Then he trembled in the arms of the young Lord.

Chang Yihuo quickly embraced his little red daisy "It's alright. I am here and will always protect you" he said softly but his eyes were darkening.

Earlier, he had pulled Wenhe Feng away from the ceremony and away from those peering eyes of others. They went inside an empty room then there he felt that Wenhe Feng was silent and was shivering which he hadn't notice earlier until now.

He touched the youth's face and slowly pulled it up. Chang Yihuo was surprised for the first time. Those lovely eyes of the youth are now blank and fearful. He quickly pulled the youth in his arms and called out his name soothingly. It took for a long time before he heard Wenhe Feng called his name.

"I'm sorry, Big Brother" the youth cried in his arms "I can't hold it anymore"

Chang Yihuo still smoothly caresses the youth's head and hair "It's alright. I am here, Wenhe Feng. I won't let anyone hurt you" he promised in his life to protect the person he loved. He stared once more at the youth in his arms. He lean down kissed those pinkish cheeks and those tears away. "Don't cry. You are now safe"

Wenhe Feng felt the feather like lips of the young Lord and he felt warmth once again. He nodded cutely and wiped his tears away. "Thank you, Big brother" he smiled thankfully at the young Lord.

'I shouldn't be scared because big brother always here for me. I will be strong one day and I will protect big brother as well' Wenhe Feng thought.

Wenhe Feng felt brave so suddenly, he tipped toe and kiss Chang Yihuo's cheek "Hmm. I will also protect you big brother" he declared.

Chang Yihuo chuckled and nodded "Yes. My little red daisy" then hugged the youth in his arms.

"Ah! Big brother! I am going to be late." Wenhe Feng pulled away from the young Lord and dragged the other to leave the empty room towards his classroom. "C'mon. Let's go!"

The young Lord chuckled and was so glad to see his little red daisy became lovely and energetic once again. However, he won't forget the person who is responsible for giving nightmares of Wenhe Feng.

'Hmm. Might as well talk to the Emperor later and the Empress' The young Lord decided.
