Diya's POV

After exiting the apartment I went to the underground parking lot. There I saw my baby waiting for me. I meant my bike which is my life. I love my bike to the moon and back. I bought it with my savings and I usually brought it to my university. I hopped on my bike and used my key to ignite my baby. As usual, it was roaring to get on to the road.

By the time I left my apartment, it was already 9.30 p.m. While riding my bike, suddenly a black SUV came in my way. I was startled when the car hit my bike, making me kiss the ground. I groaned when I saw the bruises on my forehead and forearm that I got as a gift due to the fall.

Great..... now Khushi is gonna think that I got this bruises due to the race.

I slapped my forehead with my palm as usual but this time I regretted it because now there was a freshly formed bruise resting there. I winced in pain after the impact.

I was already fuming in anger because of the person who drove the damn SUV. When I stood up and straighten myself while dusting the dirt off my clothes, I saw a man wearing black jeans and a white button-up shirt. To my surprise, he was the same guy from the mall.

There goes my wish to not see him again. I cursed myself.

He opened the door and gave me a loop sided smirk. The f*ck...the audacity of this guy to smirk at me after knocking me down. Arrogant Jerk!

"Hey boy...did you just got your license? Be careful, because not everyone is kind enough to stop their car from going over a teenage boy, who just got his license. No need to thank me for my kindness. By the way cool bike dude" he said sarcastically and just drove past me.

I just wish I could beat the hell out of him. He didn't even bother to apologise even though it was his bl**dy fault. My blood was boiling with fury. Good that he didn't recognise me. Anyways I don't have time to argue with him because my race starts at 10.00 p.m and now its already 9.45 p.m. Also, thank god I didn't wear my nerdy glasses, if not my favourite pair of glasses would have shattered into pieces. Well, I usually wear my colourless contact lenses while racing, just in case anything happens during the race even though I have full confidence in my race.

With that thought, I speed away to my destination.

Rahul POV

After settling all the work at my office I prepared to head back to my parent's mansion. By the time I left my office, it was around 9.00 p.m. and my parent are living 40 minutes away from my office. My driver was ready to drop me, but I told him to leave and I pulled away from my office.

Surprisingly, the way to my parents house didn't have any traffic, in fact, I was the only one on the road. Suddenly, my phone rang, making be startled and when I glanced at the caller ID, I saw my childhood friend, Vimal's name flashing on my screen.

Vimal and I studied together until college. Then he left the country to take over his father's company at NYC. He is a very trustworthy friend and I am happy to have him around me. He has been with me in my ups and downs.

Unlike someone who betrayed me!

"Hey a** how are you?" he asked over the phone, snapping me put of my trance. " I am good because my dumba** friend isn't here to bother me," I said sarcastically. "Well, I can see that you really miss my company" I scoffed hearing that from him.

While I was on the call with him I didn't notice the bike in front of my SUV and before I could hit the brake, the person on the bike tripped from the bike. I wonder whose face did I saw this morning. The day just keeps on getting worse.

Why do I keep on dashing into others since morning? I grunted.

After opening the door by my side, I saw a boy wearing black skinny jeans and a black leather jacket. He was wearing a cap and had black boots. He had beautiful blue eyes just like her....hmmm...Wait why am I thinking about her. Angry bird. I shoke my head to clear my mind from her thoughts.

Then, I noticed the boy examining his minor bruises on his forehead and forearm. I gave him a smirk and told him "Hey boy...did you just got your license. Be careful, because not everyone is kind enough to stop their car from going over a teenage boy who just got his license. No need to thank me for my kindness. By the way nice bike dude."

To my surprise, he didn't speak anything and he seemed like he was lost in his own thoughts.

Therefore, I pulled my car to my parent's mansion.

---------------------------------------------------------

When I reached home both my parents greeted me with a warm hug.
"Baiya(brother)....finally you came to visit us," said my sister Ananya, running towards me with open arms.

I gave her a smile and she pulled me into a bear hug. I love my sister, she is the sweetest thing ever. Then, we both had a bro-sis talk since it's been a long time I spent time with my sister as I am always busy with my workk and her being busy with her college. She is upset with me being away from home but what can I say living away from home gives me more freedom and it's also very convenient for my work.

Later, we all had dinner together and I gave my mom her birthday present. She had no complaints about the Saree. She was very delighted with my gift. My mom doesn't like to celebrate her birthday by throwing a huge party. She is just a simple and modest person. Hence, she prefers celebrating her birthday with her loved ones by having small chit-chats.

After the dinner was over, mom threw a bomb at me. " Mom!!... I have told you many times to not bring the topic over and over again" I said while glaring at my mom.

"Beta(son)...why don't you understand what I am trying to say. I just want you to settle down and have a family" mom said all with I face that looker at the verge of sobbing.

I don't want mom to cry during her birthday but why can't she just drop the topic off. For god sake, I am just 25 and I want to enjoy my youth but she wants me to settle down with a family with lots of responsibilities hanging over my head.

I can't settle down. Just not yet. I still have an unfinished business with a certain someone and for now that's my main priority.

"Mom, please...I am not ready for marriage yet. Let me live my life for some time." I said giving her a pleading look.

"It's okay if you don't want marriage, why don't you get engaged?" my mom asked with hope filled eyes.

No!....thats not possible, engagement is worse than marriage. I can't see myself roaming around with the same girl wherever I go, even before marriage. I wanna enjoy my bachelorhood. With that thought, I left a heavy sigh.

" Mom give me some time. I will think about it" I know this was the only way to shut down the damn topic.

" Ok beta, take your time. You know some of my friend's daughters are interested in you, it's just a suggestion. I don't want to see my son's name in the headlines with rumours about him roaming around with different girls every week" mom said with her face facing the floor.

"Mom those are just rumours and I know that you trust your son more than anything. Besides, I am a famous billionaire and its common for people like me to have rumours spread about me. Moreover, I don't run behind girls, they're the ones running after me. It's not my fault that I look stunning" I said winking at her.

Soon the environment became calm and we both starting laughing.
