****skip to night of bday dinner****

"Happy birthday bitch!" Pansy and Blaise yell walking into the house as Draco sits at the couch book in hand with coffee out
"Here's your gifts from the both of us" Blaise says walking over sitting on the leather couch across from Draco setting the wrapped gifts on the coffee table between them and Draco sets down his drink placing his bookmark and setting it down on the table
Draco grabs the small bag and pulls out a thing of tissue paper then a small velvet box opening it with curious eyes as pansy and Blaise watch with excitement

"Woah, thanks guys!" He says taking the ring out placing on his right hand middle finger examining
"Open the next one!"
Draco reaches out braving a bag but pansy yelps a quick not that one and draco raises any eyebrow but stands up to open the quite large one wrapped in plain dark purple wrapping paper
"What the hellllll" Draco says suprised opening what looks to be a giant cage but didn't see anything inside other then wood shavings, hay, water food treats and a bed along with what he assumed to be toys. 
"What did you buy me?" He asks suspiciously "if you bought me a ferret I swear to merlin I will kill you both!" Draco snap at them and they both shake their heads claiming they didn't.
"Just move some stuff around look you'll find her!" Pansy says and Draco looks down sceptically reaching his hand in the cage moving the small soft bed aside revealing a tiny white bunny and Draco gasps before softly picking it up holding it to his chest looking down at it

"Awe my god this is so sweetest thing I've ever seen" he says Completely forgetting he has company

"Awe you so cute aren't you" he says moving it do it was lying on its back while rubbing its stomach

"What are you going to name her?" Pansy asks and Draco looks up remembering they were here and thinks for a moment while petting the bunny

"Opal, Opal Malfoy" Draco says with a grab holding her to his shoulder where she hopped onto and gladly sat down
"Thank god you liked her I didn't think you would want a pet, especially since how much you hate princess" Blaise says and I scoff

"That cat is the worst as well are most animals but Opal is an exception of course" he says and pansy throws him a glare

"What's is the bag?"

"Oh just some stuff you'll need for Opal like some more treats, food, hay, another bed, some toys, another water bottle, and other food bowl, some more wood shavings and also-" Pansy lets out a small giggle

"-we bought small outfits to dress her in" she laughs and Draco looks at her horrified "I will not be putting clothes on my bunny no way, poor thing" he say placing her back in the cage on her bed where she hops around until she's comfy and closes her eyes "fine, but we also but a leash thing for her too just in case you would need it for whatever reason" she says and Draco nods

"Well you could use the leash thing and then attach the other end to sighing in whatever room she's in and then she can hops around that room without being in her cage or without you in there and that way she won't be able to hop away and get lost" Blaise says and Draco looks up at him with a nod "that's not a bad idea" Draco says and then stands up "I'm going to get get dressed for dinner tonight I've made reservations" and with that he walks out of the room to his bedroom where he starts getting reading where as pansy and Blaise came ready and just sat on the couch watching Opal hop for a little until she went back to sleep and they got bored and looked at the time only to see that it's already been close to an hour since he went to his room and their gonna have to leave very soon
