Avni decides to talk to Neil and ask him what happened! 

Finally one night Avni switches off Neil's phone, puts it in her dresser drawer and waits for him to come out of the washroom. 

"Neil"

Neil looks around to find his phone. 

"Neil, why are you ignoring me?" 

Neil looks at her all of sudden, 'I am not ignoring you" 

"You are Neil" 

"Avni, please, have you seen my phone? I have an important work to do!" 

"Neil, you are not even talking to me properly ever since the accident" 

"Avni..."

"Neil, I am not stupid, I can see that you are ignoring me! I just want to know why?" 

"Avni I am not, I have always been like this" Where is my phone man?"

"Neil, please tell me what is going on?" Avni goes up to him and puts her hand on his cheeks. "Did I do something"? 

"Avni I have always been like this, you are probably feeling like this probably because of the accident. Have you seen my phone anywhere, I have to make a call?" 

"Neil neither am I blind nor I have lost my memory, okay. I remember the we were before the accident. Do you think...."

"Avni now you are just making up things" I need my phone, I have a lot of...." 

"Tell me this Neil, why do you not make an eye contact while talking to me, why do you wake up in the middle of the night and go sleep on the couch, and nowadays you don't even talk to me properly before going to work. I am here for you Neil, tell me what's going on, did I do something?" 

"Avni" 

"Your phone is in the dresser" and she just goes to the bed and goes to sleep while Neil grabs his phone from the dresser. 

The next night

"Neil..." 

"Avni I don't want to talk about it" Neil interrupted before she even finished 

"I was just saying I have an appointment tomorrow, and I would really like it if you could come" 

"hmm" 

"It's ok, if you can't be there because of your work, I will just go with someone else" Before Neil could reply she goes to the washroom. 

Avni comes out changing into her nightgown and settles herself for sleep

"I'll be there" 

"Huh what?"

"I'll be there with you tomorrow. For your appointment" 

"Okay"

The next day 

"Hi Neil, I am at Ali's cafe, can you just pick me up from here" She called him 

"So Avni how are you? How is it going?" Ali asked her 

"I'm good" 

"How's Neil" 

"Ummm he's okay too I guess"

"What happened?"

"I don't know Ali"
