We are out of the flashback now (this scene is a continuation from part 7: Guilt)

Neil's POV
Avni! Neil wake up look at Avni! I heard Ali yelling all of sudden. After hearing Avni's name a couple times, I woke with a jerk and went towards Avni. I could not understand what was happening to her.
Ali call the doctor or a nusre quickly! I panicked seeing her condition and so was Ali. She is gagging, perhaps she might wake up. I did not want to think or assume anything before the doctor came.
Mr. Khanna I am going ask to wait outside, the doctor will be coming right away. The nurse instructed us.
Hmm I nodded and left the room, praying nothing goes worse than this.
Aunty come to the hospital, there's change in Avni, I could hear Ali inform Neela ma.
As I paced back and forth, its been few minutes since the doctor went inside, making me nervous. Don't know if Avni is fine, I just hope she is fine.
After 10 minutes Neela ma and the family comes to the hospital inquiring about Avni to us.
We dont know what's happening, she was gagging and we have been waiting here for almost 15 minutes. Ali informed them.
Don't know what's taking the doctors so long, I sighed as I sat down on the chair beside me.
She is going to be fine Neil, I can feel it. Neela said with little hope and faith.
I hope so. I didn't want them or me to have really high hopes, not till the doctor confirms.
Few minutes later the doctor comes, good news Mr. Khanna, the patient is out of coma!! And her physical and neuro tests went quite well. She doesn't have any major complications from the surgery. She is awake, you guys can go and meet her.
I let out a breath that I was holding onto for so long; maybe many days. Oh thank you so much doctor! I could hear everybody exclaim while Dad and I thanked the doctor.
Oh and please don't bombard her with too many questions, give her a little time to adjust. We will be keeping her here for few days, just to make sure that she is absolutely fine. The doctor told us before leaving.
I felt like I got my world back!
