Chapter 28

Tony was laying off to the side, unconscious with a panicked and burned up looking Steve trying to wake him

Natasha was trapped under a beam and looked badly burned

And Wanda and firebolt were battling furiously

You shot an ice blast at firebolt's back, she shrieked and fell forward sending out a wave of hot air that knocked Wanda away and into a wall

You shoot another blast and firebolt only just manages to roll away

She stood up quickly and shot a blast at you, You leaped to the side and landed on the floor, you rolled as she shot another

You were so filled with rage for what she had done to the team. You screamed as you sent several icicles flying her way she leaped to the side but couldn't dodge one that lodged itself in her leg, she screamed and fell

You got up and ran towards Natasha who was still straining against the beam

You lift it up- what can you say, ice is strong! She thanks you and sits up, her legs are bleeding but she doesn't seem to care as she jumps up

"You fools!" Firebolt yells "I will enjoy killing you!"

She shoots a fireball at Natasha, everything slows and you don't even think as you jump in front of her, taking full force of the shot (cliché I know)

You scream and clutch your side Natasha runs to your side

"Y/n!" She screams but you hardly hear her

Who the fuck does firebolt think she is?!Natasha is your friend! And she shot at her!How dare she?!

You stand up and throw an icy glare in firebolts direction (ha ha get it?)

"Oh you're going to regret that you BASTARD!" As you yell the last word you shoot and icy blast more powerful than you ever had

Firebolt is thrown through the wall and onto the concrete floor outside

You glance at Natasha, she looks bad, pale and staggering but also a look of pride is plastered on her face

"Rest" you tell her

She looked like she wanted to protest but instead sat down and spoke into her comm

"Anyone there?" She asks

"Tony and Wanda are down- I-i think peter is too, I saw y/n carrying him so I think he is ok, I won't be able to assist I'm sorry" Steve stutters from the end of the line

"I-I'm here" you hear peter say weakly "But i can't help either, I think I have a concussion and everything is spinning"

"Ok y/n it looks like you're on your own" Natasha says looking at you

You nod

"Look after everyone, I will make that bitch pay" you say as you take off at full speed toward firebolt who was just getting up

"HEY YOU LITTLE SHIT!" You scream at firebolt, she looks up as you shoot an icky blast her way, she dodges and shoots her own blast of fire that you leap out of the way off

"THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!" You yell, shooting again

"OH BE QUIET!" She screams "I ALREADY TOOK DOWN YOUR FRIENDS, I WILL TAKE YOU DOWN TOO"

"OH YEAH? BRING IT ON!" You scream

You are so filled with rage and power you feel the floor freezing where you step. Unfortunately firebolt also seems to be the same, the concrete was starting to steam around her feet

You begin to run forward, as does she. She bursts into flame and your skin turns blue and you charge up your strength, ready for the fight of your life

Then you shoot the most powerful blast of ice you could possible muster, at the same time firebolt shoots a beam of fire

They meet in between you two and you fight to keep up this incredible blast of power

Your ice begins to climb towards firebolt and you could see she was struggling to maintain her stance

Suddenly she jumped up and flew, avoiding the huge blast that hit another abandoned wear-house opposite you.

You weren't going to let her get away that easily  

You flew upwards, gaining speed and closing the gap between you and firebolt

You shoot another beam that she only just manages to dodge, she then throws one at you that hits your leg, you scream and shoot another beam.

It carry's in like this for some time, flashes of blue and orange illuminating the night sky

Your now blue skin was glowing faintly, and the flames still flickered around firebolt, but more faintly

You scream as you send another huge icicle her way, she doges the sharp point but the side still pushes her, using her moment of distraction you send a huge blast of ice at her, it hits her dead on in the chest.

She screams and falls downwards, the flames around her dying. She continues falling, faster and faster. Just before she hits the floor you catch her, she groans as you place her down, you rip away her mask and gasp

"Anna?"
