elise had an eventful tuesday, it gave her a lot of reconstruction on herself and personal being
{flashback}
"hey henry, can we talk?" elise asked across the table at a small coffee shop they'd gone to
"of course, what's up" he responded, placing his phone on the table and making eye contact with her
"when did you know you were gay?" she asked, breaking the subtle eye contact she has with him before taking a sip of her iced coffee
henry lightly choked on his coffee, clearly taken aback by the question "oh, uh well, it was easy for me, i guess, i never had a connection with the opposite gender, just my own" henry responded, looking at her
"why" he asked, elise's expression changed as she looked up at him
"i think that i'm uh, i'm gay?" she stated, looking at him, slightly confused by her feelings
"want some advice?" he asked taking a drink from his coffee cup
elise nodded her head with a light smile
"so, if you think you are, you can't just be straight, you wouldn't be having the thought if you've never felt a connection with the same gender" henry stated, taking her hand from across the table
"thank you" elise started to say, immediately getting the next statement out happily
"so i think im lesbian" she said with a laugh
"im proud of you, thank you for trusting me with that" he said smiling, standing up and moving towards her
elise stood up, a tear striking her left eye
"hey, it'll be ok, i'm here for you" henry said embracing her in a soft, loving hug
"i love you" she said, placing her head onto his shoulder
"i love you more" he said, rubbing her back
{end of flashback}
elise only had this thought because of a special someone, and she feared that her friends would treat her differently, especially sadie
