as sadie and elise sat in the closest, they went back and forth asking questions about each other's personal life and simple questions like

"what's yours favorite color"
"purple" elise said
"green" sadie said

"what's your favorite food?"
"crandberry salad" said elise
"same"

elise sat up, noticing the stranger things 2 poster in the corner of the room.

"ok, if you weren't max who would you want
to be in stranger things?"

"to be honest, probably nancy.
what about you? if you could be anybody
who would you choose?" sadie responded

"probably eleven, although i think it'd be cool to add a character like eleven but maybe she's number four?" elise replied

"her powers would be? maybe like the ability to control the elements?" sadie said, crossing her legs while she sat on the carpet

"that's pretty badass, yeah. and maybe teleportation too" elise said, chuckling at the fictional character sadie and her had created

"yeah, that's badass" sadie said

they went on for about 5 minutes, talking about this character, 004, and what she could've done to the story line in season 2.

(okay plug! this book is actually posted, it's called harrington. and i swear it's written in better quality than this one is)

"i can't think of anymore questions" sadie said minutes later, looking at elise

both elise and sadie's phones had died while they sat in the closest, looking up questions on google and replying to millie on twitter

"me neither" elise said, looking around the closet

"okay i may have 1 more" sadie said, bringing elise's attention back to her, moving to sit with her legs bent next to her

"and that would be" elise asked, moving to sit on her knees

"how'd you know you were gay" sadie asked

"oh, uh i think i always knew, i never felt a romantic connection with guys, but i did with girls" elise said, giving sadie a how about you look

sadie enhales then looks at elise

"you"

elise cocked her head to the side, then the light went out making the two girls dark figures in a dark space

elise gasped and looked at the ceiling before bringing her attention back to sadie when she started talking again

"i had to kiss caleb in season 2, and i hated it, and then when i met you, i just felt something" sadie said, looking down, ignoring the light

there was barely any space between them, it felt as if they were face to face and if the shifted too far forward, they'd hit the other one

"i don't know, it's silly, sometimes i just feel like you and i... like you and i have something" she says, fiddling with her hands

"sades" elise starts to say as her eyes adjust to the darkness

"no, i'm sorry, i shouldn't have-" sadie began to say, being interrupted by elise

"i like you"

sadie smiled

"you do?" she asked softly

within seconds, elise connected the distance between them, placing her lips onto sadie's softly

elise moved her hands to sadie's cheeks, and sadie moved her hands to wrap around elise's waist

elise smiled against sadie, she felt like she was herself for the first time in a long while

they pulled away softly, sharing a laugh as they heard something at the closet

the door was being unlocked by none other than finn wolfhard

sadie stood up, helping elise up and intertwining their fingers

elise smiled looking at sadie, then their connected hands

"so, what happened while we were gone" finn asked, opening the door

corey gasped, placing her hand over her mouth with a large grin

"it worked" sadie said with a laugh

finn looked down to see their hands

he smiled

"i knew it would" noah said, placing his arm around millies neck

millie laughed and nodded at the two girls in front of them

sadie and elise looked at one another

"yeah" they said in unison, grinning from ear to ear
