It was now Monday. The best day ever! I could see rainbows fill the sky and the birds were chirping outside my window I woke up and walked with a bounce in every step.
At least that's how I wanted morning to be like instead I got this; I woke up realizing it was Monday and groaned. I stretched for a moment and hit my head against my bed. I rolled off the bed and heard the birds cawing outside my window and the sound of rain hitting the roof in a steady beat. That was my morning, not some rainbow shit and birds chirping.
I brushed my teeth and braided my hair then changed into a tight black shirt, my leather jacket, black jeans, and black combat boots. Most of my closet was black really.
I got to the kitchen and started making breakfast. I made egg, bacon, and started toasting the bread. I put the ingredients together into a sandwich and set the plates on the table. My dad had already left to work; he was a mechanic and owned his own small shop, which he named after my mom, Sammy.
I started making rice as Luke finally woke up the only way I knew he was awake was because he yawned and started moving stuff around his room to find something clean to wear.
When I was done with the rice Luke had already brushed his teeth and changed clothes. He always left his hair in that bed head state because it actually looked nice on him. His blonde hair was as soft as feathers and his long bangs added to his handsome looks.
When we finished eating I went downstairs to take out our bikes while Luke washed the dishes, I hoped. We did this every morning we would get ready for school, eat, and then one of us would get the bikes while the other washed the dishes then we would ride to school.
It was a far trip, but we could make it we obviously weren't out of shape from all the places we went to with just our bikes.
Luke went to St Marie's school while I went to Ashton high school home to the panthers. At Luke's school, they had uniform, unlike mine. I smirked at the thought as I finally got to school.
I went inside the building and towards my locker was Jason and Tessa were waiting for me. I grinned when I saw them and waved. I out my stuff in my locker and got my books out.
"Hey, Skylar, how was the rest of your weekend without me?" Jason asked grinning ear to ear.
"Well, it was amazing I finally stopped hearing someone's -- I didn't bother hiding the fact that I was talking about Jason-- annoying voice" I smirked at my victory.
Tessa grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the girls bathroom, "See you Jason duty calls!" I saluted him with a serious face before we both broke and started laughing. Tessa pushed me gently into the bathroom and closed the door behind us.
She looked under every stall to check for people, "You better not be pulling a gun on me Tessa because you know I can defend myself," I joked and she didn't answer back as she stood in front of me with the most serious face ever. Some bad shit must of happened.
"I think I like Jason," She blurted out, that was unexpected but expected.
"I knew it! But I didn't think you would admit it now. Remind me to pay Anna 20 dollars."
She rolled her eyes "Wait, you bet money on us?!" Her eyes wide.
I quickly changed the subject "So what made you realize it?" I asked grinning.
"Well, we kissed at the party on Friday! I don't think he remembers, but I do!" She said clearly forgetting my bet.
"But aren't you dating Eric?" I asked and she nodded.
"I am but I like Jason too! And I don't know what to do!"
I sighed and brought on my serious face, "Okay if you really liked Eric you wouldn't have fallen for Jason so chose Jason, break up with Eric today." She looked at me in awe.
