Angel And Demon

Chapter 13

I stared at Johnathan in disbelief. Did he catch them? Or did he get help? I find it unbelievable that he caught them by himself. Yes, Johnathan might be pretty strong but that doesn't mean he can take down two adult Demons.

"I know I'm strong, but I didn't catch them at all I found them here with holy water handcuffs," He said and I instantly felt flustered for saying that out loud.

"Why would they be here alone?" I asked confused.

"That's what I'm wondering," He looked at Derek and Sapphire "How did you end up like that?" He asked raising a brow.

"Your stupid Angels aren't Angels at all! They left us here with these handcuffs out of curiosity to find out if Demons do eat each other or fall if they stay too long somewhere pure!" Sapphire spat at us venom in her voice she started squirming but flinched when she pressed too much against the cuffs, Derek seemed perfectly calm though.

"Why did you come here?" I asked and this time Derek spoke.

"We're here for you, beautiful, but Damon never told us they were now raising mini demons here," Derek looked bored he didn't seem to care that he was here trapped.

I looked at Johnathan, "You know we can pretend we didn't see anything and let the other Angels do their experiment," I said suggestively and Johnathan and Fox grinned.

"Whatever are you talking about Johnathan? I don't see any Demons here" Fox said smirking.

"Well, sorry for bringing you guys here for no reason we should go now," Johnathan said and we all left the room closing it behind us.

"No really though what should we do?" I asked something inside of me wanted to release them I felt bad how would I feel if I stood here too long without feeding? I would go crazy.

"We will tell Nevaeh later she's on a trip with the other council members' apparently an Angel spread his wings when a human was looking," He said and I nodded.

"I hope they don't eat each other or something," I say trying to ignore the pangs of guilt.

I opened my eyes with purpose, I knew it was night and no one was awake. I crept out of my bed and into the empty hallways I moved quietly like a shadow. I finally reached my destination: The room where we kept the Demon's.

I opened the door quietly and got in there was blood on the floor and I looked up to see Derek biting Sapphire's neck, I cursed and hit Derek with a broom that was in the room, apparently this is a supplies closet.

I grabbed Sapphire's limp body and checked her pulse, "She's still alive," I muttered.

I took the handcuffs of her and taking off Derek's shirt I soaked up the blood coming out of the bite in her neck. I took off Derek's handcuffs even if I felt a tingle when I touched the holy water part. I pulled them both out of the room by the hand and turned around to close the door when something hit me in the back of the head.

"I knew you would come take us out of here sooner or later the Demon motto is, Together we stand, Together we fall," Derek's voice said as he lifted me up in his arms, "I'll leave Sapphire here Damon did say if she got injured while here to leave her for dead. She did try to kill Melody, what a jealous bitch," Derek said to no one in particular, his voice was forced though as if the Bermuda Triangle was slowly getting to him.

I felt him run and I tried to punch him but I just hit him weakly in the chest. Derek sighed, "I don't want you fighting back." With that said, Derek hit me hard in the head. I soon felt the cool air against my skin and gave in to the voice in my head that told me to sleep.
