After Jade and Brinley picked up Sophie and made it to the girl's night get together, they immediately gossiping about their boyfriends.

Jade was the first to do so, as it seemed she had a lot of pent up aggression towards Enzo, even though she seemed like the happiest person in the room.
"He just doesn't reply sometimes, and it really pisses me off, you know?" Jade began. "Like last week, I texted him asking if he was bringing the weed before we went over to Holden's and he literally didn't answer me til he got home and I bugged him about it for an answer."
"I would have beat the shit out of him, metaphorically." Selena said.
"You brought weed to Holden's?" Brinley was shocked that her boyfriend would have allowed that.
"Yeah? Didn't you smell it?" Jade asked Brinley, who felt incredibly stupid for not knowing.
"I just didn't know he did that sort of thing."
"Sweetheart, we all do. Enzo and I got him hooked." She laughed. "He asks for it every time we come over. And in exchange, that creepy brother of his gets us alcohol."
"Did you bring any over here?" Sophie asked eagerly, not noticing the internal crisis Brinley was having.
"Soph, you know you're too chicken to even try a little." Jade rolled her eyes. "Anybody else got some drama with their boyfriends?"
"Mine is just perfect." Selena gushed about her boyfriend Dan. "We've been together for a year and we've never had a big fight or anything."
Brinley was hurt. Holden and Brinley had fought multiple times and they hadn't been dating for nearly that long. Selena noticed Brinley's expression and quickly spoke, "But we do have lots of little arguments, sometimes they end in sex."
It didn't help Brinley, but in an attempt to keep the conversation light hearted she asked, "Sophie, do you have a boyfriend?"
"Me? A boyfriend? Brinley..." Sophie got quiet.
"Brin, she's gay." Jade said louder. "If I wasn't dating Enzo, boy would me and Sophie be together. Ain't that right?"
Sophie blushed a bit, but all of the girls were so happy for her, they all agreed that they were all the slightest bit gay for Sophie, which made her feel better.

At nearly one in the morning, Brinley turned over to Jade and Lia, who were both on her right side. She needed advice more than anything, and maybe a few shots of liquor as well.
"Guys," She whispered. "What should I do about Holden?
"How do you feel about him, honestly?" Lia answered, sounding extremely concerned.
Brinley hesitated, "I think I love him."
"Think or know?" Jade asked, Brinley couldn't see her raised eyebrows through the darkness, but she knew they were there.
Brinley thought for a minute. "Know"
"Then tell him!" Gina piped in from behind Lia.
"Enzo left his house about an hour ago. He's alone, go tell him!" Jade encouraged.
Without another word, Brinley got up, grabbed her keys and drove to his house not caring what she looked like.
-
Brinley made it to Holden's house in record time, not bothering to knock as that could wake his parents. She snuck silently up the carpeted stairs, quieting rapping her fist on the door, then stepping in and shutting it.
The light was on, but very dim. She looked around for Holden, and when their eyes finally met, Brinley felt butterflies erupting with excitement to share the news of her love for him.
Holden sat by the window, silently praying that Brinley couldn't see the slight tear in his eye. Not sharing everything with her was killing him. It was only a matter of time before he broke. He would either break his family or his relationship. It was possibly the hardest decision he ever needed to make.
"Hey baby." Brinley stepped towards him.
Holden looked out the window, quickly wiping tear tear from his eye. It was now or never.
"B, I have to tell you something." Holden stepped closer to her.
"Not now." Brinley held his hands in hers. She admired the way they seemed to fit so perfectly.
"I need to..." Holden whispered as his forehead was pressed against hers.
Brinley pulled the muscular boy in with a soft kiss. He melted in her hands. He was like clay and she was the sculptor. She had the power to make him into whatever she wanted. She could make him strong, or weak, and it seemed as if she was doing both.
Holden felt powerful with Brinley against his chest, yet he felt so cowardly and weak hiding so much from her. And that is how he knew that he would have to break for her. He couldn't do this to her any longer.
     "B..."
"H..." Brinley giggled against his plump lips.
"This is serious." Holden scowled. Brinley saw his eyes furrow through the shadows.
"I am being serious." She placed her hands on his chest and carefully pushed him so that he was sitting on his bed. She was standing between his legs.
"Doesn't seem like it." Holden said between light kisses, holding her waist close to his torso.
Brinley replied by placing soft kisses on his neck. Everything from behind his ear to his defined collarbone was touched. The kisses began at his ear, they were soft and sweet. But as Brinley neared his collarbone, they got rougher and filled with more and more lust with every kiss. She sucked lightly on his neck, wanting to leave a mark, but to afraid to actually do it.
     "H?"
"Hmm?" Holden was enjoying the moment too much and barely noticed his girlfriend's voice.
     "I" She kissed his forehead.
     "Love" She kissed his cheek.
"You" She kissed his lips harder than she ever had before.
She put every bit of her being into that one kiss, wanting it to last a lifetime. Every fear she had was wiped away. She felt nothing but pure love.
"Brinley," Holden pushed her away slightly, still keeping his hands at her waist, his forehead against hers, and his eyes closed. "I need to tell you something."
