5 year old Destiny held her little sister's hand as they climbed onto the swings. The two of them held onto the swings and swung as hard as their little legs could take them. Paris, only 3 years old, couldn't go very far, so she wasn't having any fun. But she refused to let the other girls have the swings. A bunch of other little girls were waiting around and asking to have the swings. Instead of allowing them to play on the swings, Destiny and Paris tricked the girls.

"How are you going to ask to take OUR property?! This is no way to treat the princesses."

"Princess..?" one of the girls asked.

"Yes, princesses. My sister and I are the princesses of the Jacob Manor. We rule this whole town, y'know. Including this playground AND the swings. These two swings here? These are our thrones of the playground. You can't sit on it without us granting you permission." Destiny lied. Her vocabulary was always extensive for her age.

"Yeah, and if you don't listen, we're gonna get the police on you!" Paris added in.

Immediately the girls listened and soon, they became the little girl princesses of the town. Those two girls always envisioned themselves as princesses. And you know what they say, if you say it enough, you might start to believe it yourself.

"Now please pass your essays in. You've had two days to work on them so I am looking for perfection. Do you guys understand? No excuses."

Everyone handed they're papers into the pile, except Paris. Of course, as the teacher collected the papers, he noticed one still sitting on her desk.

"Uhm, Paris, I believe I spoke clearly when I said to hand in my papers."

Paris didn't look up. She barely blinked. She just continued writing on her paper as she replied to him. "Oh, sorry, Mr. Aragon" she apologized, her voice cold and sassy behind the sweet girl act. "I just needed to write down my name and the date."

The teacher narrowed his eyes at her. "Paris, please hand me the paper right now."

He walked over to her desk when she didn't look up. He placed his hand on her desk. "Paris, paper. Now." She finally looked up at him. Her hazel eyes sent an angry glare right through him. Paris smiled, flipped her hair, and wrote her name in big curly letters at the top of the paper. She looked at the essay, and then handed Mr. Aragon the paper. She gave him a bitchy smile. He took the paper and returned to his seat. The awkward silence in the room was soon broken by the sound of Mr. Aragon's teaching again. Paris didn't feel bothered. She just flipped her long hair, fixed her clothes, and sat up straight.

After class, Samira caught up with Paris.

"Ohmahgoodness, that was HILARIOUS the way Mr. Aragon was lookin at you!" Samira said when she came to Paris' locker.

"Eh, he's a dumbass anyways. I was just sick of his bitching."

Paris reapplied her lipgloss looking into her locker mirror. She fixed her hair (even though it was flawless already) and smacked her lips in the mirror. She blew her reflection a kiss before closing the locker door. Paris wore her tote bag on her shoulder with all her books in it.

"You seem kinda on the edge lately, though. Anything up?" Samira questioned.

"Nawwh, its just.. Destiny's coming back. This time, she brought her new fiance. We're supposed to have a big family night to welcome her back and meet the boy and shit. Ulchh, im really not into that bullshit." Paris rolled her eyes at the thought of her sister bringing ANOTHER boy. And she was gonna MARRY this one? It was just too much ...

"Oh, damn. You can come over to my house if you want so you have an excuse to bail.."

"Nawwh, I have to go. Parent's rules." She rolled her eyes again.

"Oh, right.... So is that why your parents were bring a little .. uptight and everything last time?" Samira asked.

"Are you kidding? They're always uptight.."

Just then, Tre came and grabbed Paris from the waist and pulled her close. In the middle of the hallway, he kissed her, and she kissed him back. They started making out in the middle of the hallway, causing some traffic.

Tre smiled at her. "How come you haven't been texting me lately?" he asked her, still holding her.

"My schedule's been a little busier with Destiny and everything.."

"Ah, the sister's coming back."

"Yep."

He slipped his hand into hers and walked Paris to her next class.

"Oh, the other day, you left your jacket at my place. It's still in my room but I could bring it to you tommorow..-" Paris rambled on

"No, its alright, keep it. You might get cold again." He winked at her, and she giggled.

Once they reached the classroom, she promised to text him later, he kissed her on the cheek, and he went on to his own class. The rest of the day went on like a boring blur of education. Or as Paris called it "a blur of irrelevance in my life."
