Hey guys, Issac (not Kami lmao) here. Welcome to the wonderful school U.A! Our students each have unique quirks of their own and personalities. We teachers hope that you enjoy reading their story as much as we enjoyed writing it. And now! Without further or do, this is the story of a quirkless girl just trying to be a hero. Enjoy!

Also, this is a repost from DeviantArt so if you want to see more about it and actually vote on poll we upload, go there. It's on my profile not Kami's so please check it out :)

Yume stared up at the giant entrance to UA. She felt so small looking up at it. A slight ache in her arms made her wince slightly. The entrance exams were no reason for her to slack off on her training. If anything, it gave her a reason to push even harder. After all, if she wanted to make it into the best hero course in Japan without a quirk, she'd have to be just as good, if not better than everyone else.

As she walked up the steps, she fingered the heavy kitchen knives in her pockets. They were key to her plan to making it into UA. Well, the knives and her intense training. As she she waked up the steps, she walked past a boy with messy, dark green hair in a uniform talking to a girl with short brown hair. She could recognize that messy hair anywhere; it was Izuku Midoriya. She used to go to his school. She remembered Bakugou constantly teasing Midoriya and her.

From what Yume could gather, the girl had caught Izuku with her quirk. "Must be nice..." Yume muttered after she had passed them. Having a quirk to call her own would make getting into UA easier, but if she had a choice to get quirk to call her own, she wouldn't take it. Yume would rather get in with her own hard work. Besides, if you were born without a quirk, you were out of luck.

She got into the line for registration. The girl in front of her had wings and a tail, as well as horns. "Wonder what her quirk's called," Yume wondered. She had spotted several interesting looking people here.

"Alright miss, go on ahead," the guard said, handing the girl in front of Yume her ID card. He stepped aside and let her pass through. "Head to the auditorium for further instructions," he pointed down a hall to the right. "Next."

Yume stepped up confidently. "Name?" he asked, not looking up from his list.

"Yume Niseko."

"Age?"

"Fifteen."

"Quirk?"

Yume took a breath before answering. "Blood Boost. I get an adrenaline rush whenever I release blood from my body," she answered confidently. She had rehearsed that line for hours in her bathroom mirror, so she wouldn't slip up when the time came.

"Alright, here's your card," he said, handing her the card. "The auditorium is just down the hall."

"Okay, thank you," Yume bowed before she began to walk down the hallway. She entered the auditorium and glanced around. The place was packed to the brim with students. As she scanned the seats for a place to sit, she spotted the girl that had been in front of her in the line. The seat next to her was empty. "Might as well try and make a few new friends," Yume concluded as she walked over to her.

She sat down in the seat. "Hey, you were the one in front of me in the registration line," Yume said, catching the other girl's attention. Once she had turned around, Yume could see that the girl's skin was dark purple and scaley. Her eyes were a piercing ruby color as well.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't notice you," she said, scratching the back of her neck. "Um, I'm Kaida Matsui. You can just call me Kaida," she introduced, outstretching her hand
