Push the red button! My mind had said. Nothing would happen, my mind had said.
Well guess what.
I had been wrong.
I'd pushed the red button, you bet I did.
And now my entire family was strewn about the universe, myself included.
And by universe, I mean the fictional universe.
That's right, my family was now in various books and movies. How did I know this? Well, I had just seen my older brother in the background of Anne of Green Gables, looking quite confused as a shrieking Anne Shirley sprinted by.
See, I had only been watching Anne Shirley on my because it was on my netflix and I was bored and procrastinating on a book report for school. Then, after this red button incident, I had found myself sitting in the strangest room I had ever seen, still holding my phone in one hand and the button in the other. I had glanced down, seen my brother on my phone, freaked out, called my mom, who had informed me she was at the base of the ocean, trying to man a submarine. After putting the pieces together, I concluded I had been zapped to an alternate universe.
Yes, things were getting very, very strange.
