"If I lie down on my bed I must be here,
But if I lie down in my grave I may be elsewhere."~Stevie Smith

"You missed our last session Ms. Rae." Dr. Williams mentioned when I came into his office. I rested my bag on the chair then sat down relaxing.

"Work just takes over your life you know?"

"Out there reaping souls?" I winked at him.

"You know it." Dr. Williams took out his notepad then crossed his legs saying,

"Let's begin." Me coming here wasn't helping, but I can't justify that already. This is my second session, I don't think going to therapy for only two days is going to help that fast.

"So what did you really do yesterday?" Should I lie or tell the truth yet again?

"What I told you, but... the day before yesterday I visited my mothers grave." He nodded writing.

"And how was that?" I sighed smiling a little bit. When Death told me she was in heaven I was happy. I knew she would go there, because my mother was an amazing women. Just hearing another insight was refreshing.

"It was good, at first I was sad of course but then I was happy. My mother didn't die a tragic death nor of regret-" Well, what I know of. "She died happy, full of warmth."

"Did anything out of the ordinary happen? Anything exciting? Did you do anything exciting?" Three questions in a way? That's way better than me. I shrugged at him. Man Cage is rubbing on me.

"Nothing in particular." This time I got intrigued, why would he ask that? I sat up looking intent, interested in the next pop question he'll ask. The next banger of therapist questions that all therapist ask in this world of ours. I crossed my legs looking more ready then ever then arched my eyebrow. Do I wish I had glasses to complete this look. Ever since I turned into a reaper I didn't need them anymore.

"Why did you ask?" Dr. Williams did the same thing. He looked like he was pondering in thought. Did my question throw him off? Did I Ria Rae throw off Dr. Williams A game?

"Something always interesting should happen in your life. Something exciting to add that spark to it, to make life seem like you aren't just living in flesh. By you making your living days the best." Well said, but extra.

"I suppose you're right Dr. Williams, you are the therapist. But..." Then I thought about it. Why did he ask if anything out of the ordinary happen first? I'm thinking too hard.

The therapy session continued with more and more questions. I continued to sit there blankly in deep thought. That can't be possible. Dr. Williams wouldn't be stalking his patients he wouldn't.

"Hey babe?" I called out to Cage when I entered our home.

"Yeah?" Cage was in the kitchen making shrimp tacos. I leaned against the wall admiring him. "How was the session?" I shrugged.

"Weird... I think he's talking me, because I busted my moms grave a couple days ago and Death visited me-"

"Death visited you? Why didn't you tell me?" Cage's voice deepened.

"It was nothing to tell. I'm sorry Cage I should have told you." I said stepping closer to him then kissed his cheek.

"Then Dr. Williams asked if anything out of the ordinary happened..." Maybe he wasn't talking about that...

"He's a therapist Ria Rae. There suppose to ask those questions. I said,

"Yeah." While Cage kissed my forehead.

"There's nothing to worry about, but if he is, I can kill him easily. You know this." Cage mentioned winking at me. I smiled up at him.

"Of course you can."

I need to make Death back off. This isn't cool how he just randomly pops up, he won't leave me be. Death really needs to bother someone else. Some other reaper to toy with to whatever he is doing to me. I don't have the energy to deal with his shit. He's making me think I'm going crazy by seeing his face instead of Cage's while we were having sex. Like what kind of fucked up shit is that? Did he do it? Or am I thinking about him THAT much?

"I was just making you some food real fast. I have to go help Kaden train this new reaper. Kaden says he's pretty difficult, almost like you." That made my eyes roll.

"Uh huh."

"No re-" Cage's phone rang and he answered it showing Kaden's face.

"Bird Cage come here now! I'm about to rock his shit."

"Okay okay." Cage hung up laughing. "I gotta go babe." I nodded my head kissing his lips. "Get rest, because we're gonna be up all night." Cage said winking at me then disappearing.

Now I'm alone... I guess it's time to call out to Death and tell him to leave me the hell alone.
