when they finally stopped and went away I wiped away my tears

fake friends? probably

they are probably just tolerating me for jaebum's sake

I walked down the dark alley with tears flowing non stop till I reached the dorm

it was 7pm and I just finished applying some cream onto my bruises

I still had two hours and I was beyond hungry so I decided to buy food from the convenient store downstairs

I put on my pullover and ran down the stairs

at the 711, I put everything into my basket

contented, I carried my heavy basket and put it onto the counter

just then, I overhead two high school girls talking loudly

"what about him?"

"he's handsome but he's a little chubby"

"hm... oh! him?"

"ugly and fat!"

I quickly grabbed my bags and rushed out of the store

they were talking about me weren't they

and they saw my bags full of junk food didn't they

I walked quickly with anger clouding my thoughts when I bumped into someone

"im so sorry" I mumbled and walked away

"what no hi hyung?"

I turned around

"oh, mark hyung?"

"here let me carry these for you"

"no no it's okay"'I said and held on tightly

"I insist" he said, and flashed me a warm smile

my hands got weak and he took the bags from me

"wow why so much food? oh right, you didn't eat lunch, you must be starving"

I let out a nervous laugh

"no I ate already I'm just stocking up so I don't have to go down so often"

"alright but don't keep eating junk food okay! it's bad for you! I'll cook you something when I have the time" he smiled at me and continued walking

I felt my heart warm a little but I brushed it aside

the next day, I felt a little faint in the morning when I woke up but I decided that it was just morning sickness

"hey jinyoung"

"oh what are you doing here"

"I decided we can go to class together since I just live next door"

"alright let's go then"

"have you eaten breakfast?"

"no oh my Gosh I am starving" I said and frowned

but a second later I realised what I said

"then let's get you something to eat first can't let you go hungry in lesson"

"have you eaten yet"

"yeah"

"then it's okay"

"but-"

"can't risk being late for lessons"

"but-"

"come on mark" I said and dragged him into the classroom

"mrs Lim! can I go to the toilet? my stomach is acting up" mark said

"oh dear, go ahead" she replied

I sighed and started doodling on my notes
again, I hate being alone

"sorry for making you wait so Long" mark said sheepishly and sat down

"making me wait? more like making mrs lim wait" I said, confused as to why he said such a thing

"I got you a sandwich"

"hm?" I asked confused and blinked at him

"you didn't eat breakfast!" he said and laughed

"thanks..." I smiled and unwrapped it

just when I was going to take a bite I heard a few girls giggling and it reminded me of yesterday night 

they're laughing at me aren't they

I turned around but the girls were just talking amongst themselves

"jinyoung? what's wrong? eat up!" marked looked at me worried

I turned back around "no I just thought someone called me"

he smiled and went back to his work

jinyoung don't eat the sandwich you're fat

but mark bought this for me, he'd be upset if you didn't eat it

l took a small bite into the egg mayo sandwich

giggles could be heard from the group of girls at the back of the class and suddenly, I felt sick to my stomach

mark stared as me and I was forced to take another bite

he seemed content and continued focusing on his own work

it was now the lesson before recess and my stomach was throwing a tantrum since the sandwich wasn't enough to fill me up

jaebum was absent in this class

great... it just means I have to walk to recess alone and sit in class, alone

when class ended I raced out of class and made a bee line for the canteen

I kept my head down throughout the entire time and sped walked

once I stepped into the cafeteria I saw kai and his gang smirking at me and I immediately froze at my spot

"jinyoungie look, it's jaebum your Best Friend, with his REAL best friends! look at how happy they are, wouldn't want to butt in now would you"

I gulped and walked away

"don't forget! 6pm" he shouted after me and I started running

soon enough, I was at the rooftop, breathless, and tears prickling at the corners of my eyes

I sat down and cried

I'm so lonely I have no friends

after sitting down and staring into space

I looked at the time

omg I'm thirty minutes late

"Mr Park can you get me a late in pass please" I said at the door of the student council room

he let out a sigh "jinyoung-ah"

I looked down guiltily

"okay but come see me after your class"

"THANK YOU MR PARK" I shouted, grabbed the slip and left

"mr kim I have a note" I said and handed it to him before quickly walking to my seat
