Chapter 23: Pillow Fight

I sigh,
ignoring his question
and roll to my side,
facing the wall.

Bam!

"Hey!" I shout
after being hit by a pillow.

I take the same pillow
and hit him back.

He dodges my hit and chuckles.

Tch! I get up and try hitting him again.

He continues to dodge
my every hit while moving
around the room and chuckling.

Soon I start laughing with him
as I continue to chase after him
with the pillow.

Oh no!

I trip on the corner of the carpet,
bumping into him.

Thump!

We both fall onto the ground
with him breaking my fall.

He looks at me with a shocked expression,
our faces nearly touching each other
but he quickly laughs it off.

I laugh with him and get off him.

"Sorry." I apologize,
a bit embarrassed.

"It's all good." he says with chuckle
and sits up beside me.

I shake things off
and grab a controller at the tv.

"It's game time!" I shout,
he quickly joins me with his own controller
and our battle begins.
