"what are we doing?" i walked into rileys room. she had her lesbian flag, katie had her pansexual flag and i had my bisexual one. there was also a rainbow one on the wall.
"its been 4 years since i came out. and i'd like to welcome you to the queer crew"
i laughed and hugged her.
"okay mom! we're ready!" she called. we each wore our flags and hugged in front of the pride flag. her mom snapped a photo and she posted it.

"so...what happened with stiles?" she asked as her mom left.
"we kissed" i grinned. my friends squealed.
"talked a bit. then he was off home because his uncle had gone over"
"thats amazing!"
the next day he took me on a date. i could tell he was really nervous but i did my best to re assure him. we went out for mcdonalds but he kept mumbling and looking away
"what about we go for a walk?" i suggested as we finished our food. he nodded and followed me out. i slipped my hand into his gently.
"remember the time we climbed a tree and threw leaves down at dillon?"
"oh yeah" we looked towards it.
"oh thats where we backflipped!" i pointed to the fountain.
"and we fell in" he grinned.
"my make up was terrible after that"
"and then you tripped and fell onto riley" he laughed. i did too. the talking and laughing continued as we walked all the way home. it was a good day.
