I marched in. I kept my helmet on just in case those Kelly's tried to pull a sneak attack. Dan returned to the table, which was slim with a dark oak coating. His mother Ellen Kelly was focused on baking over the wheezing flame, her hair was messily tied up in a bun. To the side were two wooden seats, with velvet cushions that seemed soft. Kate sat in one, her deep, sky blue eyes wandered around the room. Before I had a chance to sit down Ellen snarled.

"Where's the warrant then?" She turned away from the fire and slammed her hands onto the table, her eyes gleamed with fury. "You shouldn't of let him in if he's got no warrant!" She protested to her son.

"It's alright mother!" Dan sighed as Ellen craned her head towards him.

I decided to sit down while they bickered. I gazed at Kate, her silky nightgown flowed majestically on her torso.

"Is that bread ready yet?" Dan called as he shoved the last mouthful of soup in his disgusting mouth.

He was clearly in no rush, he was playing for time! I grunted and stood up. Dan hastily responded

"I'll just get my coat". He left the room his mother stormed after him.
