i always wondered what it would be like to be dead.

it's nothing great. nobody can see you, even though you're right next to them. so many others are happy, surprisingly.

but how can i be happy, when you are struggling so?

both of you are struggling alone.

dad was devastated when you didn't attend the funeral. however you came to the showing cloaked in black, alone, at exactly 5:34 p.m.

a very odd time.

but you came, and that's all that mattered.

dad still goes to your room, carrying the burden to not reuniting our family. he also attends my grave, every day. even during christmas.

you keep getting fired from every single one of your jobs. every once in awhile you have a fling, although i know you dream of something more.

that package never arrived to your house. it fell off the back of the delivery truck, toppling down to an old alley way.
