Chapter 25

I open my eyes and feel Carter's arm wrapped around my waist.I sigh and teleport away from the bed,this time it actually works.I smile and walk to my bathroom and shower,getting all the dirt and grim off of me.I finally finish and step out the shower and wrap myself in the towel tightly, remembering that Carter's in my room.I walk into my closet and close the door,I grab put on a grey muscle tee and put on a thin red button up flannel jacket and left the buttons untucked.I grabbed a pair of bleached high-wasted shorts with rips around the edge.I grabbed my black converse and walked out and went back to the bathroom.I brushed through my hair and blow dried it.I heard a grumble from outside the bathroom.I chuckled and woke him up."Hurry up and take a shower and get dressed,Alpha Derek said he had something really important to tell the pack" I yell in his ear.He jolts up and slaps my face "ow" I moan."Oh I'm so sorry, are you ok?" He ask with worry written all over his face.I nod my head and rub my face "just hurry up and get ready" I tell him before I leave the room to get breakfast.I decided to make bacon and eggs with grits.I hear Carter's footsteps coming down the steps as I slip a piece of bacon in my mouth.He grabs a plate and puts most pieces of the bacon on his plate along with the eggs and grits.I finish eating as he sits down.I wash my dishes and turn back to Carter whose stuffing his face with bacon "Um I'm going to go to the meeting,do you know where it is?" I ask making sure that I didn't leave him here lost.He shook his head "nope" I sighed and waited for him."Lets go" I said after he cleaned his plate.We went down the halls "I got to go to the bathroom" Carter walks to find a bathroom while I stand where I am,then a pain so strong goes through me making me shift into my wolf.I try to shift back but the pain keeps surging through my body preventing me from shifting.I lay down on the floor and close my eyes hoping that when I open them the pain will be gone.

I wake up and the pain has eased up but it's still there.I stand up but whimper when I feel some pain in my feet.Why am I still in the hall? Did Carter not find me? I sigh and try and shift back but fail,I try again and I'm human again.I walk down the halls and go to look for Carter,I go to the bathroom and don't smell him but decide to look and see how terrible I look.I turn to the mirror and see nothing,my eyebrows furrow together,why am I not in the mirror? I wave my hand frantically but I still see nothing.I had turned invisible now to reverse it,I close my eyes and the pain happens again and I transform into my wolf.I groan and shake my fur,I transform back and I'm probably naked but I don't know where my clothes are they must have turn invisible.I sigh and shuffle around on the floor hoping to find my clothes,I finally found them and slipped them on,probably backwards.I try again and I transform into my wolf,I transform back and find my clothes and change.I growl in frustration.I walk out the bathroom and make my way towards the meeting.I get there and open the door all head turn to the door and sniff the air,everyone has a confused look on their face."I-I'm here" I stuttered.They shook their heads and looked back at the alpha,I sighed,no one can hear me...great.I touch carter but he feels nothing,an idea pops in my head and I try to mind link him.

'Carter,can you hear me?'

'Yes,where are you?I'm so worried, I smell you near I just can't see you'

I smile 'he cares about us!' my wolf squeals.'Focus we need to get help'

'Carter,I'm right behind you'

His head spins in my direction

'No you're not'

'I'm invisible and I can't reverse it'

I'm grabbed by an arm right when Carter stands up.I growl "let go of me Damion" He smirks at me,I can only see him because he's invisible."Don't you want to be visible again?" I sigh and nod my head "yes" I mumble."Wait why are you helping me? we have to fight to the death in just two weeks" he sighs "I don't want to kill you unless your pack and mate can see you" I chuckle "I knew you wouldn't do this out of the 'kindness in your heart'" He chuckles along with me."Alright now your clothes are on right?" I nod "probably on backwards but who cares" He laughs then continues "I'm going to freeze you but don't freak out I'm going to unfreeze you,it wears off the invisibility" I stand still and he freezes me.I can still hear and see everything what's going on,he looks at me then unfreezes me.I was scared at first I thought he as going to leave me frozen.I was dripping wet but I could now see my own hands.I hugged Damion and ran off to my room.I changed into the shirt Seth got me and dark washed high-waisted shorts.I slipped on my maroon combat boots and brushed my hair into a high ponytail and started to go to the meeting room.I walked to the door and was instantly in Carter's arms."Are you ok? What happened?" I shook my head "I'll tell you later,lets get into the meeting"
