"hold- " before he could finish his sentence, yujin had already held on tight. tighter than he expected. her arms encircling him.
"don't speed up like you did just now okay?" her voice wavered.
he tilted his head back so that yujin could hear him better. their faces just inches away, that made yujin leaned towards the back too.
"that's just the way i ride, if you're scared, you're always welcomed to hop off."
it was as if yujin could see that smirk under his helmet. instead of rolling her eyes, she gave him the brightest smile ever. the most sarcastic one too.
"no, go ahead. make me feel alive before i die." yujin said. hopefully jaemin knew how to take hints.
"is that a challenge?" he asked back.
the girl facepalmed mentally. before she could replied, he speed away. making the girl's body fall foward.
"what the- "
"do you feel alive yet?" he shouted, over his helmet, the cold breeze blowing yujin's hair, the sound of his own bike.
unexpectedly, yujin loved it. she has never felt such thrill before. the thrill of being fast on an empty highway at 3 in the morning.
yujin then opened both of her arms.
"what are you doing? hold on tight!" jaemin panicked at the view he saw from the side mirror. what was she thinking seriously? this is not the titanic!
yujin grinned, "i just made you feel alive too, didn't i?" she asked after playfully sliding back her arm to hold him tight again.
na jaemin exhaled in exasperation. "it was actually the opposite!"
the girl laughed again. she always do. there wasn't a single time where ahn yujin wouldn't laugh in response. to na jaemin.
he muttered a question under his breath, "just what exactly have i gotten myself into?"
