Part 1 - from misery to slavery to freedom

16 year old y/n pov , not long after Blake ran away from the white fang :

As I ran for dear life into the forest away from my "home" my parents words echoed in my head

D/n : you worthless piece of shit
M/n : how the fuck did I give birth to this he doesn't even have an aura , ah well accidents happen
D/n: you only thing your good for is letting off stress

As tears filled my eyes I picked up the pace not even daring to look back incase my "family" were looking for me

A few hours later

I don't know how long I've been running for but I don't care I have no objective , no goal apart from getting as far away from those bastards as possible ... Wait is that ... A camp !!!

Me : oh thank god

As I approach the large camp a spotlight was shined directly at me

WF soldier : you , what the hell are you doing trying to infiltrate our camp
Me : i just need a place to stay ... Please
WF soldier : look buddy since your a Faunus I can let you in but whether you stay or not is up to the boss
Me : thank you

Little did I realise going into that camp and staying would have been just as bad as staying at "home"

Adam pov :

As I sat contemplating my best move considering I've now lost my best warrior , a soldier comes walking in with a boy

WF soldier : sir , this boy came into the camp looking for a place to stay

I glance over to the boy

Me : and what is your name
Y/n : y/n l/n , I came here seeking shelter after running from my abusive parents
Me : *thoughts* perfect an abused kid who'll be gullible enough to listen to anything , guess I just found a replacement for Blake
Me : sure you can stay , you've just gotta do one thing

A month later , beacon academy , Blake pov :

I arrived in ozpins office still trying to figure out why he didn't call me with the rest of my team

Ozpin : ah , miss belladonna glad you could make it
Me : if you don't mind me asking professer , why didn't you call me with my team
Ozpin : because , the mission I'm sending you on is a discreet rescue mission and one that requires one person and I know a fair but of your skill lies in stealth . I'm sending you to the main white fang camp to rescue a boy named y/n l/n
Me : is he a hostage ?
Ozpin : not quite , Adam Taurus has been torturing and using him as a slave for a month now

That was all the convincing I needed
I turned and went for the elevator

Me : I'm on it professor

Midnight , white fang camp , Blake pov :

I snuck in through the back of the camp and made my way to Adams tent , I peer through a small tear in the tent and watch Adam argue with a cat Faunus about my age

Adam : y/n you and I are going out to loot and destroy a near by village

Wait that's y/n ?

Y/n : why ?! What's the god damn point you have plenty of resources as it is
Adam : because , we need to inspire fear into the hearts of humans !!!
Y/n : we aren't inspiring fear ! We're inspiring hate ! You've given Faunus a worse image than they originally had
Adam : listen... Y/n , we need to prove that we are superior
Y/n : if we're sooooo much better than humans why is it that the supposed ambassador of Faunus rights abuses and tortures his ally!!!
Adam : you're no ally you're a slave ! And you needed discipline

At this point y/n grabs Adam by the throat but doesn't strangle him

Y/n : discipline?! DISCIPLINE???!!! You stabbed me in the stomach because I wouldn't go hunting after this "Blake" girl !!!!!

He tried to send someone to hunt me down ?! And tortured him for not doing it ?!

Adam : she was a traitor to all Faunus !
Y/n : SHE SAW THROUGH YOUR BULLSHIT AND FOLLOWED HER OWN PATH !!!!!

Suddenly y/n's face of rage twists
Into one of pain and horror as he looks down to see Adams blade through the right side of his chest . As he drops to the floor Adam speaks up

Adam : I never should have took you in , now , you better have reconsidered your loyalty before tomorrow or the next time I stab you it'll be through the heart

Adam then leaves the tent giving me an oppurtunity to rush in

Me : are you you alright ?!
Y/n : hey ... Your not white fang right ? Help me outta this place and I'll make it worth your while

He then attempts to stand up and falls back to the ground as he coughs up blood

Me : stop , I'll carry you , I can risk you losing more blood

Y/n pov

The girl picks up my now bleeding body bridal style and runs away from the camp , it isn't long before I lose consciousness

Beacon infirmary , still y/n pov

The hell ?! I'm still alive ? Damn that girl must have gotten me to safety pretty quick ... Wait hang on where am I ?

Girl : oh thank god ! You're awake !
Me : yeah ... Somehow , thanks for saving my ass , I'm pretty decent in combat but I know Adam would kick my ass and kill me if you didn't just save me , how can I make it up to you
Girl: trust me , you don't have to , if I hadn't have left he wouldn't have done any of this
Me : w-wait you're Blake ?
Blake : yeah... I understand if you're pissed I mea-

I quickly lunge and hug Blake tears pouring from my eyes

Me : thank you ! Thank you so much !
You were my inspiration for an escape but I knew I couldn't do it with Adam breathing down my neck all the time so thank you for showing up when you did
Blake : well you don't need to worry about him anymore , your at beacon now and I guarantee he won't even dare come close to here
Me : beacon ?!
Blake : you don't know what beacon is ?
Me : I've spent ninety percent of my life in an empty room being abused by my parents and the other ten percent in a white fang camp as a slave so no , I have no idea what beacon is
Blake : s-sorry I didn't know
Me : hey you don't need to be sorry , if anything I need to be sorry to you for making you waste your time saving me

Before Blake could respond a man in a dark grey jacket and green scarf comes In and asks her to leave

Man : tell me y/n , did Blake tell you what this place is ?
Me : nope , all I know is that this place is called beacon
Man : well you see , beacon is an academy for hunters and huntresses who train to make the world a better place and I , am ozpin , the headmaster of this academy and the one who informed Blake of your whereabouts and situation
Me : why ? What am I worth to anyone
Ozpin: in you I see the desire to do the right thing even if it means getting your hands dirty , and you seem skilled enough to join so what do you say , will you join beacon ...

Me : hmm.....
