Me : sure oz I'll join beacon ... On one condition
Ozpin : I'm listening
Me: if you decide to tell my parents I'm here and they come looking for me , you'll be the one who cleans their blood off the walls
Ozpin : I wasn't planning to do that anyway
Me : good
Ozpin : right then , your dorm is next door to team RWBY's , if you can't find it go and ask Blake and I'm sure she'll help
Me : alright thanks , anything else ?
Ozpin : ah , yes your scroll
Me : scroll ?
Ozpin: how blind of me , I should have known Adam wouldn't let you have a scroll

Small timeskip cus I can't be arsed to explain scrolls , still y/n pov

As I leave the infirmary to find Blake , I stare at my scroll confused as all of ozpins words basically meant nothing. Not looking where I was going I ended up bumping into someone

Me : sorry
???: jeez , how many Faunus is ozpin gonna let in here , I'm sick of having to put them in there place
Me : I'm sorry , what ?
???: listen pal you better not talk back to me and move along , unless you wanna end up like that rabbit over there

He indicates to a rabbit girl leaning on someone I presume to be her team mate with a black eye , I turn back to him and reply in an unamused tone

Me : so ,  you bully Faunus huh ?
???: it's not bullying it's justice ,  I'm Cardin whinchester and if you don't move along I'll make you fear the name like I did with her

He says this once again indicating to the bunny girl . Didn't wanna have to threaten him but I have no choice

Me *sighs and closes eyes * y'know Cardin you really might wanna stop bullying Faunus . cause if you don't... *opens eyes and presses blade to his throat* I'll gut you where you stand and hang you by your own intestines

He recoils back and stares with terror in his eyes

Me : got it ?

Without another word he runs for dear life . Shortly after the rabbit and her teammate walk up to me

Teammate : thanks for that , it's about time someone put him in his place
Rabbit : coco don't you think that threat was to extreme
Coco : sometimes you have to make threats to get what you want velvet
Me : true but I'd prefer not to if I can help it , the names y/n by the way and uhhh could you maybe show me to team RWBY's dorm , I'm kinda new here and oz said my dorm was next to theirs
Coco : sure thing follow me

After coco shows me to my dorm I walk inside and flop down on the bed

Me : phew , what a day

Suddenly the door knocks

Me : oh son of a bitch , I can't catch a break ca- oh ! Blake I didn't expect to see you round  here

Blake : it isn't hard to figure out ... Anyway may I come in

Me : well you were partially right but that ain't the only reason , I hate on myself to push others away to stop my unstable metal state from doing any harm . It ain't gonna work on you is it ?

The moment he finished his sentence he faded into sleep ... Wow he's really cute now that I think about it .... Stop it Blake ! Just read your book !

About an hour passes and he begins breathing heavily and writhing in his sleep , I pull him Into an embrace and gently caress his cat ears

Me : y/n relax it's just a dream I'm here , they can't hurt you

He quickly calms down and mutters something in his sleep but I only catch two words
