I had been a serpent for a couple of years now and for the most part it was okay, some of the serpents made trouble but me and juggy soon sorted it out. I like that me and jug took over the local newspaper just like my parents did even though it meant the serpents were always hanging around.

I love jug so I accepted the serpents for the good and the bad through it all.

Jughead

I knew something was wrong with Betty, I knew something bad was happening but I just couldn't work it out. I'm supposed to be a journalist and I can't work out what's wrong with the girl I love.

Betty
I had a secret, something so secret that I couldn't even tell jug and I really do love him, more than anything but this was one thing I couldn't tell him about.

"Ah Betty.. betty cooper" the woman said as she entered the abandoned building where we agreed to meet

"Yes it's me, you're penny ?" I replied as she fiddled with a switchblade that she usually had in her pocket.

"Yes that's me and where's your boyfriend, northsider ?" She said treating me like I didn't belong

"He's not part of this, you wanted me and you got me so let's get this over with" I told her demanding we get this over and done with

"Okay girly deliver this to a greendale address, it's on the back of the product and your boyfriend will be safe" she said

"And that's it we're finished, no more demanding favours" I said

"Maybe, we'll see by the way just because you wear that jacket doesn't make you a true serpent" she said as I left to deliver her package to greendale.
