You Two Have Discipline Disagreements

Your 6 year-old Eleanor loved to play with all sorts of objects, vases, remotes, bowls, even flower pots. You knew that she usually was careful so you usually didn't mind. One day Eleanor reached to Harry's VMA cristal prize and it slipped from her hand and shattered. Harry came up running and saw what happened, he went and kneeled were the prize was, "Eleanor look what you've done!" "I'm sorry dad I didn't mean to." "I told you never to play in dad's room, go to the corner right now and think of what you have done! I'll decide later your punishment." he shouted, she started giving soft whimpers because she had never seen an angry Harry like this before, as she walked to the corner she bumped into you, hugged you and quietly cried. "Hey sweetie pie its ok, let me talk to dad, go upstairs to your room ok?" She nodded and went upstairs. "Harry what on earth was all that yelling!? She's only 6 years old for God's sake!" "I told her not to play inside my room Y/N." "Harry, as I said she's only 6! It was an accident and besides it can get fixed!" "But it will never look like before and she needs a punishment so she won't do it again." he muttered. "Harry are you serious? When your parents told you to go to the corner did you really think about what you did? Or did you only think on how mean they were." "The second." he mumbled. "Exactly! Harry's P.O.V

Y/N was right, I was very cruel and intolerant towards Eleanor, I have to remember she was only 6. I slowly knocked on her bedroom and slowly entered and she had her face burried into her pillow softly whimpered, I felt like a bad father. When she turned around I could see her face was red and tears rolling down her face, and that broke my heart. "I'm very sorry dad it won't happen again, but please don't spank me." "Eleanor sweetie daddy would never do that, and dad is very sorry for saying those things ok?" She nodded and I went to hug her. "Daddy loves you very much never doubt that yes?" "I love you too dad, don't doubt that either."
