Ghost Adventures Saved My Life

Chapter 14- My first night

It's now around 11pm, we are all getting tired, no wonder, we haven't slept properly for over 24 hours. Nick is about to leave, so are Aaron and my brothers.

"Ok, we're all getting tired now so let's go home" Nick suggests noticing me, Rhydian and Tommy yawning.

"Yeah, come on boys, time to go home and to bed, I've already made your beds" Aaron said getting the boys.

Soon they were all leaving.

"Bye Uncle Nick, Aaron and you two, see you all tomorrow, love you guys" I said.

"Bye, love you too" Nick and Aaron said taking the boys, they were literally nodding off.

I laid on the sofa and nodded off.

"Come on you, upto bed" Zak said.

"Mhmm, carry me dad" I said. Then I felt hands wrap around me and md lifting up, I was then laid down on a bed.

"Dad, is this your bed?" I mumbled.

"Yeah, but you are sleeping on it for tonight, I'll sleep in your bed, then we'll shop for your bed and stuff tomorrow" He said.

"Ok dad, night, I love you" I said nodding off some more.

"I love you too sweetie" He said kissing my forehead and then tucking me in. I fell asleep completely.

I was in my bedroom at home in England, my dad ran in and started beating me up while drinking, punching me, kicking me, slapping me. I then heard him shout "Your precious Ghost Adventures Crew won't be able to protect you or the boys. You all deserve to die!"

"No no! Please stop hurting me you dick, I'm glad you are dead! You killed mum! I hate you!" I cried. In the distance I head someone calling me.

"Charlie, Charlie" It sounded like Zak I tried to call him then my dad tried to suffocate me.

"Nooo! Stop trying to suffocate me" I said trying to break free. I heard Zak again "Charlie! Wake up" He yelled then my eyes shot open and I jolted as if someone defibrilated me, I was shaking a lot and sweating.

"Charlie, are you ok?" Zak asked concerned. I quickly started hugging him.

"Yeah, I think so, it was just a bad dream" I said.

"What happened, do you wanna tell me?" Zak asked while hugging me.

"I was at my old house in England in my bedroom, my dad ran in and started beating me up, he started shouting 'Your precious Ghost Adventures Crew won't be able to protect you or the boys. You all deserve to die!'" I repeated "So I said 'No no! Please stop hurting me dick, I'm glad you are dead! You killed mum! I hate you!' I said.

"Yeah I heard you saying that" Zak said while listening to me.

"Yeah, then I heard you saying my name and I tried to call you but before I could, my dad tried to suffocate me, I then said 'Nooo! Stop trying to suffocate me' while i was trying to break free, then you woke me up" I told Zak.

"I heard you saying all of what you said" Zak told me. " And I won't let anyone hurt you, I'll always protect you, you're my daughter now, and I love you" He said kissing my forehead and hugging me.

"Thanks dad, I love you too" I said hugging him back. "What time is it?" I asked.

"It's 4:20am" He said checking the time. "Come on, let's get some more sleep sweetie" He said.

"Dad, can you lay next to me, after that nightmare, I'm a bit scared" I said feeling embarrassed.

"Yeah, sure if that'll help you feel better sweetie" He said getting into bed next to me. He wrapped an arm around me, making me feel very safe. I know he'll do anything to protect me. I'd do anything to protect him. We both care a lot about our family now that we are all one family, Nick, Aaron, my brothers and us, we will do anything for each other. With that thought I fell back to sleep with a smile on my face in minutes.
