10. Friends and Road Trips

Road Trips

Every time the radio turns on, the world flips,

You go noisy and start singing in the car

Then you get drunk with your friends in a bar,

These times make you happy

And make you forget about the things that are crappy,

The music in the car blasts your ears

You clink glasses and have cheers,

It is fun to be with your friends

When you gossip and talk about the latest trends,

You have breakups then you flow tears

Then your friend cheerily comes in and brings bottles of beers,

We do crazy makeup

And forget about the breakup,

We stop about a million times for Starbucks

If everyone is watching me, I don't give two f*cks,

Then we talk about hot boys

Then our exes who used us as toys,

We call them names and jerks

For this reason, having friend is a perk,

We talk about girly things

Then show each other's promise rings,

Games we play

At 5 am or any time of the day

Then we drink and go cray cray,

Put green dye in your best friend's hair

Well you're about to witness your biggest fear

But it still feels amazing to have her there,

Have a make over

And make fun of his range rover,

Laugh about the stupid things we did

And share our most embarrassing moments as a kid,

Cry on each other's shoulder

Until we get older,

Singing crazily in the car

And remembering each other no matter how far,

Having food fights

And sad, happy and hella crazy nights,

Reading each other's mind

Driving fast and being fined

Dropping all the other things behind,

Not caring what's going on around us

Just you and me together we discuss,

All the insane stuff

And for us these road trips never go enough

Okay so this poem is different from the other ones I have written. Its basically about my best friend and how she supports me in everything. :))
