Yoongi and Mirae sat together in a restaurant. Yoongi sighed and looked at her.
"Ms Kim."
Mirae looked up at him and smiled.
"Yes, Mr Min?"
Yoongi leaned on his elbows on the table.
"You see, I don't think anyone would do a good job. You have been with me for three years. You know me better than anyone."
Mirae smiled and nodded.
"I'll teach Rayeon everything. You won't even notice I'm not there."
Yoongi leaned back.
"But I will notice. You won't be there to great me every morning."
Mirae was still smiling.
"You will get used to it, Mr Min."
Yoongi stood up.
"Come with me."
Mirae stood up and followed after him. He stepped out on the balcony and leaned on the railing.
"Ms Kim, do you see the moon?"
Mirae looked up and nodded.
"Yes, sir."
Yoongi nodded.
"Now look at the star closest to the moon."
Mirae looked and nodded, confused.
Yoongi turned to her.
"Moon and that star have been together forever. Now imagine if that star suddenly disappeared. Would moon notice?"
Mirae looked at him.
"He will probably miss that star."
Yoongi nodded and kept looking deep into her eyes.
"You are my star, Ms Kim. I need you to stay."
Mirae blushed and her eyes widened.
"Mr Min..."
Yoongi shook his head.
"Nobody knows me like you do. Please, stay with me."
Mirae felt her heart flutter. He was never like this.
"Mr Min..."
Yoongi took hold of her hands.
"Ms Kim, I need you beside me. Do you want me to beg?"
Mirae shook her head.
"No, sir. I just need time for myself. I need to settle down, get a family, find a husband."
Yoongi scoffed.
"Alright. You want husband. Marry me."
Mirae's eyes widened.
"What?"
Yoongi nodded.
"Marry me. That way you'll have a husband and you will stay with me."
Mirae sighed.
"Mr Min, you can't just do that. I don't want a husband because he wants me to stay. I need love. Real love."
Yoongi sighed.
"I promise you, Ms Kim. By the end of this month, you will fall in love with me and you will marry me."
Mirae just shook her head.
"That's not how things go, Mr Min."
Yoongi smirked.
"Is that a challenge?"
Mirae blinked fast.
"No..."
Yoongi smirked.
"Just wait, Ms Kim."
