Mirae saw the invitation to charity event on her desk. She smiled and walked to Yoongi's office.
"Mr Min. You got an invitation for the charity this weekend."
Yoongi nodded.
"You'll go with me."
Mirae blinked.
"What?"
Yoongi looked up at her.
"You are my secretary, aren't you?"
Mirae nodded and smiled.
"Also, you are supposed to go to an orphanage tomorrow."
Yoongi nodded.
"You'll go with me. Prepare some gifts for kids."
Mirae nodded and smiled.
"Of course, sir."
Mirae was getting ready to go to lunch when Jungkook walked to her.
"Hello, Ms Kim."
Mirae smiled.
"How's the first day going?"
Jungkook nodded.
"Great. I met this really cute girl, Ms Lee."
Mirae grinned.
"She's my replacement."
Jungkook smiled.
"Oh."
Mirae patted his hand.
"Talk to her. She probably likes you too."
Jungkook nodded and smiled.
At that moment, Yoongi walked out of his office.
"Mirae. Are you ready for lunch?"
Mirae's eyes widened.
"Yes, sir."
Yoongi took her hand.
"Goodbye, Mr Jeon."
Jungkook smiled and bowed.
"Goodbye, sir."
Yoongi pulled Mirae with him. She stopped and pulled her hand away.
"What was that?"
Yoongi frowned.
"What?"
Mirae scoffed.
"That, Min Yoongi."
Yoongi frowned at her angry tone.
"Nothing. I'm just taking you on another date. This is a lunch date."
Mirae shook her head.
"Can't you just ask me like a normal person and not drag me away?"
Yoongi nodded.
"Go to lunch with me."
Mirae chuckled.
"That's the closest I'll get to you asking me out. Alright."
Yoongi smirked and took her hand and started walking slowly.
Mirae blushed at their hands.
As they ate lunch, Mirae giggled. Yoongi looked at her questionably.
"Were you jealous?"
Yoongi turned his head away.
"No. Of what?"
Mirae smiled.
"Of Jungkook."
Yoongi flinched as she used his name.
"Of course not. Why would you choose him, when you have all of this?"
Mirae shook her head.
"Not much to see."
Yoongi's eyes snapped to her. Mirae tried to hide a smile.
"I'll have you know, I'm the most desirable men in Korea."
Mirae smiled and shook her head.
"What is this really about?"
Yoongi shook his head.
"I just don't want you to leave me."
Mirae melted as his eyes fell on hers.
"Yoongi..."
Yoongi shook his head and stood up.
"Let's go."
The whole ride to company was quiet. As they walked to Yoongi's office, Mirae sighed.
"Yoongi."
He turned to her and watched her.
"I don't want to leave either. I just need time for myself."
Yoongi nodded.
"Alright, Ms Kim. Is that all?"
Mirae felt her heart break as he called her by her last name.
Yoongi turned around and walked away.
Mirae sighed sadly. He was just angry. It will pass.
