You were on your way back to Seoul and it was kind of bitter sweet. Bitter because you had to leave your family in Daejeon but sweet because you could go home and lay in your comfortable bed
Your sister had told you a lot of things about Jungkook. She knew so much about him that you were positively sure that she stalked him on her free time
Yes, you thought Jungkook was attractive and seemed like a nice guy, but the problem here was not telling him how you felt, it was breaking up with Hyunwoo. You weren't sure how he'd react due to his sudden change in behavior recently
You made your way off the train and out of the station to wait for Jungkook.
Ten minutes past and you began to grow impatient. It was chilly and you didn't have a jacket and your legs were starting to hurt and there was no way you were going to sit on the dirty floor and have your pants contaminated with germs
You looked at your watch and saw the time. 9:46 it read. Just as your were gathering you things, you saw Jungkook come running from the opposite direction. He had on the most in vogue outfit

You crossed your arms as he made his way toward you. "It's late" you said. "Yeah, I know. I kind of um.. fell asleep for five hours". You widened your eyes "You can't make plans with someone and then show up late, Jungkook"
He chuckled " 내가 알지. 미안합니다"(I know, I know. Sorry about that). You quickly excepted his apology. "Shall we get going". You nodded before you started walking
"Are you hungry" he asked. "Not really but I bet you once I see food I'll become hungry" You laughed. He smiled at you. "Good because I know the perfect place" He said before he grabbed your hand and started running in the direction of the restaurant
About ten minutes later, you guys arrived at the restaurant. You took your seats and sat in silence until a waiter came and took your orders
After all that, You cleared your throat, grabbing his attention. " Is there a reason why you chose to sit in the corner of the restaurant, isolated from people". He nodded " I don't want anyone to see us. Sure I'm allowed to date, but rumors will start spreading"
"But you have a mask on. No one will recognize you". He signed " But I have to eat. I can't eat with my mask on,can I?"
Things were silent for another five minutes before he decided to speak. "So how is your relationship with your boyfriend going". "Its going pretty good" You lied
He furrowed his eyebrows " Are you sure about that because this mark says otherwise". Damnit I thought I hid it better, you thought. Little did you know that you had actually said it out loud for him to hear. "Hid it better?" he asked
"Oh my god, Soojung! He hit you didn't he" He continued. You look down at your feet but he was quick to use two finger to push your chin back up before he pushed your brown hair behind your ear
He looked you in the eyes and said "Please dont lie to me. I'm sorry if I'm badgering you but I simplying want an answer. A truthful one"
You sighed "That night we first met and we were in the alley way hugging. I got home and Hyunwoo was upset. Not only was I home later than usual but I also 'smelled like another guy'. He was pretty pissed and he took his anger out on me"
" I knew it" he said. A moment or two passed with him just staring at you, smiling. "You know if I was your boyfriend I would never hurt you. We would go on dates like this all the time. I would kiss you before you fall asleep and first thing in the morning"
You shifted uncomfortably "Gosh, can we just get our food already"
After you guys got your food, you started talking a lot more. He told you about his childhood and his life as an idol. You told him about yourself as well. To your surprise, he was actually a pretty nice guy
"I had a great time tonight, Soojung" He turned to you once you reached the apartment. You smiled " Same". He smiled back and you both stayed like that for quite some time
Reality hit you and you saw you were wearing the jacket he gave you when you left the restaurant "Oh here's your jacket". "No keep it. It's yours". You thanked him
He leaned in and gave you a kiss on the cheek "Goodnight Soojung. I love you". "Goodnight. I- I love you too" you stuttered
You walked into the apartment, beaming but your smile soon disappeared when you saw Hyunwoo sitting on the couch, in tears
"Hyunwoo" you said softly. You walked over to him to give him a hug but he backed away. You looked at him in confusion
