Jaemin (2)

A/N: I got the idea of this from the short scene of jaemin and jeno in a kdrama (I think) where they sang "We Go Up" and of course I changed some things

"Y/n you have to behave good here, I'll come get you in the evening okay?" my mother said before kissing my forehead, she got up and start walking away.

I stood there still looking at my mother walk away until someone put their hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see a woman probably in her 30's looking down at me with a smile on her face

"Ahh you're here, y/n right?" she said with a sweet voice, I just nodded

"Good, let's get to class then" she said before pulling me with her into a colourful room, tables arranged in lines and some children were sitting there. All of them are looking at me.

"Okay children, we have new student here be friendly with her, now y/n introduce yourself" the woman said gesturing me to speak

"Hi my name's y/n y/l/n, nice to meet you" I said and the students waved at me, the teacher told me to go sit on the table and I did as she told me.

"Okay, let's start this" she said and walked to us and gave us papers and pens.

Its recess time, the teacher led us to the school playground. I didn't feel like playing so I went and sat on a bench and I start swinging my legs. I remembered that my mother gave me a device I don't know the name of it, I got it out of my small bag and I start playing games in it. Not long enough, someone came and sat beside me, I noticed that they are looking at the device in my hands so I looked up to see a boy, he smiled at me and we locked eyes then he starts a small talk

"Hi my name is Na Jaemin, What's your name? you aren't in my class" he asked me

"I'm y/n y/l/n, nice to meet you" I said and I shock hands with him like what my mother taught me to do when I meet a new person. After we shook hands he gestured to the phone

"What's that game?" he asked

"Oh this....?" I said and he nodded then I told him what's the game

"Can I play it?" he asked and gave me his puppy eyes so I gave it to him and he starts playing.

He played and I helped him sometimes we also shared some laughter but after the recess ended, the teacher told us to get inside back to classes

"It's nice talking to you jaemin, you're my first friend here" I said smiling at him

"Same, we'll meet tomorrow right?" he said and i nodded, he smiled at me before his teacher took him to the class, he waved his hand at me and I did the same then I followed my teacher to class.

After that day, me and jaemin became best friend, he would come to me and play with my phone, we'd be smiling and laughing with each other, I made some other friends but not close as jaemin. Days passes, it's the last day of preschool, when I was preparing myself, I felt sad because this will be the last day that I meet with jaemin, my mother noticed me and asked if I was okay, I told her everything and she hugged me and told me that maybe I'll meet him again in the future, I felt a little bit better. I went to school, time passes by and it's finally recess time, I ran out and sat on the bench waiting for jaemin. He didn't take long to come, he sat beside me, we looked at each other smiling.

"It's the last day" jaemin said and by his voice I know that he doesn't want things to end here.

"Yeah" I said with sadness in my voice

"I'll miss you, we spend a lot of time together I don't want it to end" he said and looked away

"Same but we'll meet one day like my mother said" I told him and put my hands on his and squeezed, he looked back at me, his mouth formed into a smile
