I hopped out of the car as my mom dropped me off at star court mall. I know. All by myself? Yep. You see.. I just moved to Hawkins and don't have any friends. There is no school since it's summer so barely any chance of meeting people so no friends means I'm all by myself.
I came here to look around, maybe buy some things. I also want to try the new ice cream place "scoops ahoy!" Sounds fun right? I walked into a couple stores picking out a few clothing items I liked and trying them on.
I ended up buying them and then walked over to "scoops ahoy!" Where I bumped into a boy around my age.
"Oh, I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going and-"
"It's fine" I assured the boy. I laughed a little at how awkward he was. It's kinda cute.
"What?" He asked "huh?" I said "you just said, it's kinda cute?" He asked awkwardly. "I did? Oh shit.." I blushed looking down.
"I'm will" the boy said after a minute. "Lorra" I looked up shaking the boys hand. "We should hang out sometime" he said I was surprised at his sudden boost of confidence. "Yeah we should" j smiled At him. "Okay..see you around Lorra"
"Yeah see you around will" I smiled as he walked away towards his group of friends. I may have just made a friend.
