About a month after surgery, Erik was sent home to recover with Christine.
Christine took good care of Erik. Every morning she fed him some fruit and some milk.
"Christine." Erik asked her, "Why are you doing all of this?"
"Erik I want you to get better."
"Christine-."
"Shh. Don't speak." She told him and put her hand on his mouth. "Save your energy." He did as he was told and he ate his breakfast. Finally after a morning of silence Erik kissed Christine.
"What are you doing?!" She asked him . Feeling surprised and joyful.
"It's called sex. It's fun, you should try it." He said restating her words.
"Really?" He nodded.
"Yeah." He told her.
"Ok." She kissed him, doing the same as they did that same night. At about 12 am Erik asked Christine a very hard question.
"Christine, I need to ask you a question."
"Yes?"
"Do you love me?"
"With all my heart." They both smiled
"Then, Christine, will you marry me?"
