the girl silently finished packing after her best friend left. her room was now blank and empty. nothing remained on the desk. there were broken crystal clear shards of glass on the floor that were not to be picked up. she gazed at it silently and sighed. she couldn't let herself be weak. she couldn't be pathetic. she couldn't be miserable for the rest of her life. but she just couldn't bring herself to change. it was him and it would only be him.

she closed the room and headed downstairs to the front door. she closed the door and walked away for a new start.

she was headed to the states. a place for new romance and new starts. to meet new people, discover new friends, and hopefully get away from kihyun once and for all.

he was the man who stole her heart, broke it, and wouldn't mend it.
