[I wrote this years ago, give me a break.]
"Hmm, why aren't you bleeding as much as the others?"
Jeff tilted his head as he watched his victim below him, still trembling with life on their bed. He placed his knife right beneath their collarbone and slowly inserted the blade, then drug it across, releasing more blood than before. Jeff laughed and lifted the knife, looking to the man's expression with a dull stare.
"One more cut....just right through your neck. That should do it~!"
...
"....Haha, that's it...that's more like it."
The man went limp beneath the murderer, his arms flailing to the sides of the bed and his eyes half shut, the whites still slightly visible. Jeff backed himself off the bed and turned his attention to the other two in the room that had accompanied him on his hunt.
"The deeds done," Jeff scoffed, trailing his finger across the bloodied knife he wielded, "you can take what you want now, EJ."
"It's about time."
The masked killer brushed past Jeff as he headed for the bed where the dead man lay and took out his scalpel, ready to retrieve his desired prize. Jeff stood beside the other, (Y/N), as they waited for Jack to finish his job.
"Remind me again why it was necessary for me to come along with you two?" (Y/N) asked, crossing her arms as she glanced at Jeff. Without any understandable context as to why she needed to join the two, she was urged to come along with Jeff and his usual companion, Eyeless Jack as they went hunting that night. Remembering the events of the last time she went out with the two, she had absolutely no trust whatsoever in going anywhere with them, but for some reason, here she was tonight.
"It wasn't necessary for you to be here at all," Jeff scoffed, glaring back at (Y/N), "we only brought you here as a possible lookout incase there was any danger. Even though me and EJ are perfectly capable of looking out for ourselves..."
(Y/N) narrowed her eyes and turned from Jeff, looking back to EJ in annoyance. "I knew I should've just stayed back at the mansion," She muttered, grinding her teeth a bit.
After a few minutes of waiting, Jack was finally done gathering the kidneys of the unfortunate man, and he made his way back to the other two with his prize sealed in a jar.
"Done. Let's head out," He said plainly, walking past them both and heading for the for window in which they had broken into. Jeff followed close behind, and (Y/N) came too, though lagging behind a bit.
(Y/N) noticed that as of late, EJ was acting a bit different around her. Normally, the killer wasn't one to speak too much, but whenever she was around him, he'd either drop to uttering a few words here and there, or just stop talking all together.
During their whole hunt that night, EJ had barely said anything at all, and she wondered if it was because of her being around again. (Y/N) was starting to get a bit pissed off by this because she never did shit but she decided to test her assumptions and say something.
"EJ," She started as she pulled herself through the window and landed out on the other side, "What's your catch like tonight? Is it good?"
"Good enough. Could be better," He replied briefly, not once looking back to either her or Jeff. (Y/N) nodded a bit, although she wasn't sure what else to say to him. "What up with you Jack? You've barely talked the whole night, is there something up?" Jeff asked; apparently he wasn't the only one who noticed Jack's awkwardness.
"I'm fine..." He uttered. He slowed down a bit and turned his head; he seemed like he was going to say more for a second, but no words came out and he turned back, speeding up again.
